Making Sense of the Siddur

Rather than granular dissection of the liturgy by words or phrases, the goal of this series of shiurim is to better understand the structures of the prayer service - their function, their elements, and their variations across days and times. Getting this "big picture" sense of what's going on in services was important for me in my own spiritual development. My hope is that this knowledge can empower you to exercise your agency in directing your own spiritual experience in prayer.
