Daily Coronavirus Psalms

When the coronavirus lockdown began I decided to write and record one song per day for each of the 150 psalms. Here are the sources for the project. Embedding many videos in this source sheet slow it down considerably, so a complete playlist of the videos lives here.

I'll be planted like a tree

Beside divided waters

And I will create

As I await our time to rise.

(9) Away from me, all you evildoers, for the LORD heeds the sound of my weeping. (10) The LORD heeds my plea, the LORD accepts my prayer.

(4) The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed; You shall wholly transform his bed of suffering. (5) I said, “O LORD, have mercy on me, heal me, for I have sinned against You.”

my soul thirsts for God, the living God; O when will I come to appear before God!

Like a hind crying for water, my soul cries for You, O God;

Send forth Your light and Your truth; they will lead me...

(24) Rouse Yourself; why do You sleep, O Lord? Awaken, do not reject us forever! (25) Why do You hide Your face, ignoring our affliction and distress? (26) We lie prostrate in the dust; our body clings to the ground. (27) Arise and help us, redeem us, as befits Your faithfulness.

... A love song. (2) My heart is astir with gracious words; I speak my poem to a king; my tongue is the pen of an expert scribe. (3) You are fairer than all men; your speech is endowed with grace; rightly has God given you an eternal blessing. (4) Gird your sword upon your thigh, O hero, in your splendor and glory; ... and let the king be aroused by your beauty; since he is your lord, bow to him.

Be Still.

And Know.

I AM

God.

Man does not abide in honor; he is like the beasts that perish.

Man does not understand honor; he is like the beasts that perish.

O Lord, open my lips, and let my mouth declare Your praise.
