(7) When I cry aloud, O God, when I call, hear my voice; be gracious, and answer me. (8) My heart tells me to seek You, to see Your presence (9) Do not hide Your face from me; do not forsake me; You have ever been my help. Do not abandon me, O God, my deliverer.... (11) Show me Your way, O God, and lead me on Your paths; keep me safe from harm.... (13) Help me to be strong and take heart, still to believe I shall see Your goodness in the land of the living.

A psalm of David.
Adonai is my shepherd, I shall not want.
God makes me lie down in green pastures,
leads me beside still waters,
and restores my soul.
You lead me in right paths for the sake of Your name.
Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil.
For You are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You have set a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all of the days of my life.

(2) Those who live without blame, who does what is right, and in who speak truth within their hearts; (3) whose tongue is not given to evil; those who do no harm to their fellow, nor bare reproach for their neighbor; (4) Those who scorn the lawless, but who honors those who revere God; who stands by his oath even to his hurt; (5) who has never lent money at interest, or accepted a bribe against the innocent. The person who acts in this way shall never be shaken.
From all the spaces between times,

In honor of the survivors
As we transition from the psalms and prayers that our people use in times of mourning and tragic loss, I would like to take a moment to pray for those gravely injured in the this most recent shooting.
