In this passage of the Haggada we find that 5 Rabbis are gathered in B'nai Berak and are learning Torah all night. In the morning the students come to tell them that it is time to read the morning Shema. One of those rabbis is Rabbi Akiva.
1. B'nai Berak is where Rabbi Akiva lived. This means that the other 4 rabbis were coming to visit him. Rabbi Akiva was the youngest of the 5 rabbis. The question is why were the rabbis visiting him?
2. Why is it important for the story to tell us that they were learning until morning. The time of Shema is daybreak which is when the first rays of light start shining? What is the significance of this?
