Teaching and Learning in Collaboration

It is easy to collaborate on Sefaria source sheets. Colleagues, whether in the same school or anywhere in the world, can work together to create materials. Students can learn together on a shared source sheet. They can answer questions, respond to comments and add texts or media.

This is a collaborative sheet. It is set for anyone to add. With this setting, the collaborator's name will appear next to the comment or addition. Feel free to add to the sheet so everyone can see what it looks like.

When Yaakov was all alone, an איש "man" came and wrestled with him. Many commentators have discussed the identity of the "man". Who was he?

Read the verse from Genesis. Choose any of the options below.

1. Answer the question, "Who do you think the "man" was?"

2. Add a commentary with an opinion about the identity of the man.

3. Add a video or image to the sheet.

(25) Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the break of dawn.
