כארזים. כפול בטעם והזכיר הארזים כארז בלבנון ישגה:
AS CEDARS. Scripture repeats itself. Balaam mentions cedars in the sense of He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon (Ps. 92:13).

וזרעו במים רבים. כזרע שרוה במים והטעם שכל יום יצמח ויגדל:
AND HIS SEED SHALL BE IN MANY WATERS. Like seed saturated with water. This means he shall flourish and grow every day.
