(יד) ... ויצחק בא מבוא
אתא ממיתא. ולהיכן הלך? באר לחי רואי, הלך להביא את הגר, אותה שישבה על הבאר ואמרה: לחי העולמים, ראה בעלבוני...

...And Yitzchak had just come from
[Sarah's] death [and mourning]. And where did he go? To the Well of Lachai-ro'i, he went to bring Hagar, the same one who sat by the well and said: "O G-d - see me in my shame"...
(ד) ושמה קטורה - רב אמר: זו הגר... אמר לו: והכתיב: ושמה קטורה?! אמר לו: שמקוטרת מצות ומעשים טובים...
...And her name was Keturah
Rav said: This is Hagar... He said to him: But doesn't it say [in the Scriptures] And her name was Keturah?! He [Rav] said to him: because "her acts gave forth fragrance like incense (ketoret) "...

שלח ישמעאל ולקח לו אשה מבנות מואב, לאחר שלש שנים הלך אברהם לראות את ישמעאל בנו, ונשבע לשרה שלא ירד מעל הגמל במקום שישמעאל שרוי תמן, והגיע לשם בחצי היום, ומצא שם את אשתו של ישמעאל, אמ' לה היכן הוא ישמעאל, אמרה לו הלך הוא ואמו להביא פירות ותמרים מן המדבר, אמ' לה תני לי מעט לחם ומים כי עייפה נפשי מדרך המדבר, אמרה לו אין לי לחם ולא מים, אמ' לה כשיבא ישמעאל הגידי לו את הדברים הללו וב"ן חכ"ם כחצ"י חכ"ם ואמרי לו זקן אחד מארץ כנען בא לראותך ואמ' חלף מפתן ביתך שאינה טובה לך, וכשבא ישמעאל מן המדבר הגידה לו את הדברים הללו, ובן חכם כחצי חכם, והבין ישמעאל ושלחה אמו ולקחה לו אשה מבית אביה ופטימה שמה, ועוד אחר שלש שנים הלך אברהם לראות את ישמעאל בנו, ונשבע לשרה כפעם ראשונה שאינו יורד מן הגמל במקום שישמעאל שרוי שם, והגיע לשם בחצי היום ומצא שם אשתו של ישמעאל ואמ' לה היכן הוא ישמעאל, אמרה לו הוא ואמו הלכו לרעות את הגמלים במדבר, אמ' לה תני לי מעט לחם ומים כי עייפה נפשי מדרך המדבר, והוציאה לחם ומים ונתנה לו, עמד אברהם והיה מתפלל לפני הב"ה על בנו ונתמלא ביתו של ישמעאל מכל טוב ממין הברכות, וכשבא ישמעאל הגידה לו את הדבר וידע ישמעאל שעד עכשו רחמי אביו עליו כרחם אב על בנים...
Pirkei D'Rabi Eliezer - 29

It was continued by their disciples and first came to light in the 8th century.
Yishmael went and took himself a Moabite wife. After 3 years, Avraham went to see Yishmael his son, and swore to Sarah that he did not get off his camel...he arrived at noon and found his son's wife...
- He said: Where is Yishmael?
- She said: He went with his mother to bring fruits and dates from the desert.
- He said to her: Give me a bit of bread and water as my soul is tired from the desert.
- She said: I have no bread or water.
- He said: When Yishmael comes tell him all that transpired and tell him that an old man from the Land of Canaan came to see you and said that your doorway is not good for you.
And when Yishmael came [home] he understood and [divorced her] and took a second wife whose name was Fatima.
After three years again Avraham went to see Yishame his son and swore to Sarah as before that he would not get off his camel... He arrived at noon and found his son's wife.
- He said: Where is Yishmael?
- She said: He went with his mother to graze the camels in the desert.
- He said to her: Give me a bit of bread and water as my soul is weary from the desert.
She [immediately] brought bread and water and gave him.
Avraham arose and prayed before G-d for his son and Yishmael's house was filled with all good things and blessings. When Yishmael came [home] she told him all and Yishmael knew that Avraham had mercy (love) for him as a father has mercy (love) for his son.
