(2) May the LORD answer you in time of trouble,
the name of Jacob’s God keep you safe. (3) May He send you help from the sanctuary,

(7) Now I know that the LORD will give victory to His anointed,

with the mighty victories of His right arm. (8) They [call] on chariots, they [call] on horses,
but we call on the name of the LORD our God. (9) They collapse and lie fallen,

Out of the depths I call You, O LORD. (2) O Lord, listen to my cry;

O God, heathens have entered Your domain,
defiled Your holy temple,
and turned Jerusalem into ruins. (2) They have left Your servants’ corpses
as food for the fowl of heaven,
and the flesh of Your faithful for the wild beasts. (3) Their blood was shed like water around Jerusalem,
with none to bury them. (4) We have become the butt of our neighbors,
the scorn and derision of those around us.
(5) How long, O LORD, will You be angry forever,
will Your indignation blaze like fire? (6) Pour out Your fury on the nations that do not know You,
upon the kingdoms that do not invoke Your name, (7) for they have devoured Jacob
and desolated his home. (8) Do not hold our former iniquities against us;
let Your compassion come swiftly toward us,

Prayer for the Healing of the Sick & Injured
He who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses and Aaron, David and Solomon, may He bless and heal the sick ones. May the Holy One, Blessed be He, have mercy upon them, to heal and strengthen them, to sustain and revitalize them. May He swiftly send them a complete recovery from the heavens, to their 248 limbs and 365 tendons, among the other sick of Israel, a healing of the soul and a healing of the body, soon, speedily. And let us say, Amen.
(א) מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב
(ב) הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת חַיָּלֵי צְבָא הֲגַנָּה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל

(1) May He who blessed our fathers, Avraham, Yitschak and Yaakov
(2) bless the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces,
(3) in their standing guard upon our land and the cities of our God
(4) from the border of the Lebanon to the Wilderness of Egypt
(5) and from the Great Sea to the approach of the Arava - on land, in the air, and in the sea.
(6) May the Lord give our enemies that rise against us plagues in front of them.
(7) May the Holy One, blessed be He, guard and rescue our soldiers form all trouble and distress and from all affliction and illness;
(8) and send blessing and success in all the work of their hands.
(9) May He crush those that hate us below them and crown them with the crown of salvation and with the wreath of victory.
(10) And through them let the verse be fulfilled (Deuteronomy 20:4),
(11) "For it is the Lord, your God, that walks with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you."

(2) We have heard, O God,
our fathers have told us
the deeds You performed in their time,
in days of old. (3) With Your hand You planted them,
displacing nations;
You brought misfortune on peoples,
and drove them out. (4) It was not by their sword that they took the land,
their arm did not give them victory,
but Your right hand, Your arm, and Your goodwill,
for You favored them. (5) You are my king, O God;
decree victories for Jacob! (6) Through You we gore our foes;
by Your name we trample our adversaries; (7) I do not trust in my bow;
it is not my sword that gives me victory; (8) You give us victory over our foes;

Prayer for the Welfare of Soldiers and Captives of Israel
The following prayer was authored by Chief Rabbi Shlomo Goren, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, during the Yom Kippur War.
Initially composed for our captives in Syria after the war, its relevance persisted, especially after the abductions by Hezbollah.
It has been recently updated to include all citizens and is being redistributed.
תְּפִלָּה לְשָׁלוֹם חַיָּלֵי וְשָׁבוּיֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל
מִי שֶׁבֶּרַךְ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב, משֶׁה וְאַהֲרוֹן, דָּוִד וְשְׁלֹמֹה, הוּא יְבָרֵךְ וְיִשְׁמֹר וְיַצִּיל אֶת בָּנָיו הַיְּקָרִים, חַיָּלֵי צְבָא הַהֲגָנָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל וְשְׁאָר הַלוֹחֲמִים לְמַעַן בִּטְחוֹן הָעָם וְהָאָרֶץ, וְאֱזְרָחִים – זְקֵנִים וְצָעִירִים, נָשִׁים, גְּבָרִים וְטַף – הַנִּמְצָאִים בְּצָרָה וּבְמָצוֹקָה, וְנִתּוּנִים לְמָשִׁיסָה וּסְכָנָה בְּשֵׁבִי.

Prayer for the Welfare of Soldiers and Captives of Israel
He who blessed our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses, Aaron, David, and Solomon, may He bless, protect, and rescue His precious children, the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces and other fighters for the security of the people and the land, and civilians – elders and youth, women, men, and children – who are in distress and trouble, and who are exposed to danger and harm in captivity.
May the Holy One, blessed be He, bestow mercy upon them to sustain and strengthen them, to revive their spirit and hope, to deliver them from the confinement of their souls, to bring them from distress to relief, and from bondage to redemption.
And for the injured among them, may God send a complete healing from the heavens, a healing of the soul and a healing of the body, and may all of them merit to return soon to their homes and to their land in health and completeness, for life and for peace. May the words of the scripture be fulfilled for them: "To bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the eyes to those who are bound," and let us say, Amen
