רֶגַע שֶׁל עִבְרִית A Moment of Hebrew

בִּמְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת הָעֹלָה יִשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת הָאָשָׁם וְאֶת דָּמוֹ יִזְרֹק עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב׃
The asham sacrifice shall be slaughtered at the same spot where the olah sacrifice is slaughtered, and the blood shall be thrown on all sides of the mizbei’ah (altar).
לִזְרֹק lizrok (שֹׁרֶשׁ ז.ר.ק)
  • To throw, toss, or scatter
מַזְרֵק (mazreik) = Syringe
מִזְרָקָה (mizrakah) = Water fountain
זַרְקָן/זַרְקָנִית (zarkan, zarkanit) = Someone who doesn't put in time or effort for the tasks they need to do (slang)
לִזְרֹק מַבָּט (lizrok mabat) = To glance
