(22) God blessed them, saying, “Be fertile and increase, fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”
(27) And God created humankind in the divine image,
creating it in the image of God—
creating them male and female.
(28) God blessed them and God said to them, “Be fertile and increase, fill the earth and master it; and rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and all the living things that creep on earth.”
(18) God ה' said, “It is not good for the Human to be alone; I will make a fitting counterpart for him.”
(20) And the Human gave names to all the cattle and to the birds of the sky and to all the wild beasts; but no fitting counterpart for a human being was found. (21) So God ה' cast a deep sleep upon the Human; and, while he slept, [God] took one of his sides and closed up the flesh at that site. (22) And God ה' fashioned the side that had been taken from the Human into a woman, bringing her to the Human. (23) Then the Human said,
“This one at last
Is bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh.
This one shall be called Woman,
For from a Human was she taken.”
(24) Hence a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, so that they become one flesh. (25) The two of them were naked, the Human and his wife, yet they felt no shame.
(טז) אֶֽל־הָאִשָּׁ֣ה אָמַ֗ר הַרְבָּ֤ה אַרְבֶּה֙ עִצְּבוֹנֵ֣ךְ וְהֵֽרֹנֵ֔ךְ בְּעֶ֖צֶב תֵּֽלְדִ֣י בָנִ֑ים וְאֶל־אִישֵׁךְ֙ תְּשׁ֣וּקָתֵ֔ךְ וְה֖וּא יִמְשׇׁל־בָּֽךְ׃ {ס}
(16) And to the woman [God] said,
“I will greatly expand
Your hard labor—and your pregnancies;
In hardship shall you bear children.
Yet your urge shall be for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”
(כ) וַיִּקְרָ֧א הָֽאָדָ֛ם שֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ חַוָּ֑ה כִּ֛י הִ֥וא הָֽיְתָ֖ה אֵ֥ם כׇּל־חָֽי׃ (כא) וַיַּ֩עַשׂ֩ ה' אֱלֹקִ֜ים לְאָדָ֧ם וּלְאִשְׁתּ֛וֹ כׇּתְנ֥וֹת ע֖וֹר וַיַּלְבִּשֵֽׁם׃ {פ}
(20) The Human named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all the living. (21) And God ה' made garments of skins for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.

(3) And I will set My face against that party, whom I will cut off from among the people for having given offspring to Molech and so defiled My sanctuary and profaned My holy name. (4) And if the people of the land should shut their eyes to that party’s giving offspring to Molech, and should not put the person to death, (5) I Myself will set My face against that party’s kin as well; and I will cut off from among their people both that person and all who follow in going astray after Molech.

(10) If a man commits adultery with a married woman—committing adultery with another man’s wife—the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death. (11) If a man lies with his father’s wife, it is the nakedness of his father that he has uncovered; the two shall be put to death—and they retain the bloodguilt. (22) If a man is found lying with another man’s wife, both of them—the man and the woman with whom he lay—shall die. Thus you will sweep away evil from Israel. (23) In the case of a virgin who is engaged to someone —if another man comes upon her in town and lies with her, (24) you shall take the two of them out to the gate of that town and stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry for help in the town, and the man because he violated his neighbor’s wife. (1) A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

Unless the LORD builds the house,
its builders labor in vain on it;
unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman keeps vigil in vain.

(1) My son, listen to my wisdom;
Incline your ear to my insight,
(2) That you may have foresight,
While your lips hold fast to knowledge.
(3) For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey;
Her mouth is smoother than oil;
(4) But in the end she is as bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword.
(5) Her feet go down to Death;
Her steps take hold of Sheol.
(6) She does not chart a path of life;
Her course meanders for lack of knowledge.
(7) So now, sons, pay heed to me,
And do not swerve from the words of my mouth.
(8) Keep yourself far away from her;
Do not come near the doorway of her house
(9) Lest you give up your vigor to others,
Your years to a ruthless one;
(10) Lest strangers eat their fill of your strength,
And your toil be for the house of another;
(11) And in the end you roar,
When your flesh and body are consumed,
(12) And say,
“O how I hated discipline,
And heartily spurned rebuke.
(13) I did not pay heed to my teachers,
Or incline my ear to my instructors.
(14) Soon I was in dire trouble
Amidst the assembled congregation.”

(15) Drink water from your own cistern,
Running water from your own well.
(16) Your springs will gush forth
In streams in the public squares.
(17) They will be yours alone,
Others having no part with you.
(18) Let your fountain be blessed;
Find joy in the wife of your youth—
(19) A loving doe, a graceful mountain goat.
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
Be infatuated with love of her always.
(20) Why be infatuated, my son, with a forbidden woman?
Why clasp the bosom of an alien woman?
(21) For a man’s ways are before the eyes of God;
He surveys his entire course.
(22) The wicked man will be trapped in his iniquities;
He will be caught up in the ropes of his sin.
