We were all created in God's image. Genesis is the creation story and it is important to include when thinking about Tzele Elohim. We all have the divine in us because we are perfectly made by God.
Elohim is translated to "the image of God. This passage talks about "fruitfulness" and "multiplication" as blessings. Hashem is one, he creates all, and he is all.
The image of G-d is free will. We have free will because it is a condensation of G-dliness. People have the freedom to do good or evil as they desire. With this free will we often forget that we are images of the divine. Anything bad that happens in life cannot be blamed on G-d because he does not have direct control over the actions of human beings.
The divine tells us to love with all our heart and soul. This passage explains that G-d opens up our hearts, and grants us with souls so we may live.
Rashi's commentary on Leviticus talks about loving your neighbor and not holding any vengeance is extremely helpful. Tzele Elohim focuses on the idea of loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Love is the most important teaching and people need to make sure to focus on it.

This source was written by Amy Duetsch, a teacher at a jewish after school program. When talking about B'Tzelem Elohim, She says we are all worthy of respect, kindness, and inclusion. We have limitless potential in this lifetime because we are images of God.
This song for little kids is about community and B'Tzele Elohim. It focuses on loving your neighbor and accepting others. It simplifies the idea of everyone being made in the image of God.
This discussion talks about self worth and value as a human being. Our self worth is too often tied to money. We are all holy people. Our worth to others is completly about how we treat them and act in the world. Love wins.

(this video wouldn't attach as a media file) Washington Hebrew Congregation hosted a facebook live discussion about B'Tzele Elohim and it was made clear that all beings are sacred and holy. We have all the love we will ever need inside of us because we were made in the image of G-d.
