(53) And the servant brought jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah; he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things. (54) And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said: ‘Send me away unto my master.’ (55) And her brother and her mother said: ‘Let the young lady live with us a year, at the least ten (months); after that she shall go.’ (56) And he said to them: ‘Don't delay me now that the LORD has made my way successful; send me and I will go to my master.’ (57) And they said: ‘We will call the young lady, and ask her decision.’ (58) And they called Rebekah, and said to her: ‘Will you go with this man?’ And she said: ‘I will go.’ (59) And they escorted Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant, and his men. (60) And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her: ‘Our sister, may you be the mother of thousands of ten thousands, and may your offspring inherit the gate of those that hate them.’ (61) Then Rebekah arose with her maidens, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man. And the servant took Rebekah, and went.

Discuss: Rebekah consented to leave her home to marry someone she had never met. Did she have free will? Did she make her own decisions? Use the text to support your argument.
