(1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

(17) And he was afraid, and said: ‘How full of awe is this place! this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.’

(26) I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over the Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

(21) that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, upon the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.

(10) For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, And returneth not thither, Except it water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, And give seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

(5) For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; But the LORD made the heavens.

(31) Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations: ‘The LORD reigneth.’

(11) Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all.

(2) The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork;

(6) By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

(12) Truth springeth out of the earth; And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

(11) Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

(89) For ever, O LORD, Thy word standeth fast in heaven.

(2) My help cometh from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

(8) Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

(3) The LORD bless thee out of Zion; Even He that made heaven and earth.

(6) Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that hath He done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
