תלמוד בבלי בבא קמא קטז:
דכתיב: (ויקרא כ"ה)”כי לי בני ישראל עבדים“, ולא עבדים לעבדים.
Rav said: A worker may quit, even in the middle of the day. . . as it is written “the children of Israel are [God's] servants and not servants to servants." (Leviticus 25:42) [Translation by Rabbi Jill Jacobs]
