Psalms 112:9
[The beneficent person] gives freely to the poor; that person's beneficence lasts, and lasts, and their strength is exalted in honor. [Translation by Areyvut. Edited for gender neutrality]

Suggested Discussion Questions:

1. What does it mean to give freely to the poor? What are the limitations on this?

2. How does that person's beneficence last and last? How do we reconcile wanting to give freely to the poor with our own financial limitations?
