משנה, פאה ה:ד
בעל הבית שהיה עובר ממקום למקום וצריך ליטול לקט שכחה ופאה ומעשר עני יטול וכשיחזור לביתו ישלם דברי ר' אליעזר וחכמים אומרים עני היה באותה שעה:
A land owner who travels from place to place must designate leket, shichechah, pe'ah and tithings for the poor and upon the owner's return the owner must pay, according to Rabbi Eliezer. The Sages say to the poor who are with the owner at that time. [AJWS translation]
