Sages from the Talmud for role play - A Pesach Seder resource - These sheets are intended for use at your Pesach Seder to add some spice and drama to the reading of the Hagaddah. Each sheet contains a one page bio of a famouse character from the Hagaddah or closely associated with the Rabbis who met for Seder night at Bnei Brak and stayed up all night learning. The idea is that you print off the set of character biographies beforehand and at the start of your Seder each participant takes one sheet which tells him or her which character from the Talmud they are to imagine themselves as. The Seder proceeds as normal. At some point in the proceedings each person who wants to should be allowed the opportunity to contribute something "in character" for example Rabbi Alazar ben Azaria might read the words attributed to him in the Hagaddah - or they might offer some wisdom from their source sheet - or bring something from their own knowledge or imagination of their character. There are nine sheets one per person. [Note: this is work in progress I have not had time to load them all up into Sefaria yet] If you have a bigger Seder you can always add more of your own.
