1. Half Kaddish (Siddur Nashim, Naomi Janowitz and Margaret Moers Wenig, 1976)

Let the immense Name of G-d become great and holy in the world which She has created. May She establish her Kingdom, give birth to salvation, and bring near Her Messiah, within your life and within your days and within the life of all Israel--suddenly and soon, and say, Amen.

Let Her great Name be blessed in this world and in the world of worlds.

Blessed and glorified, exalted and honored, magnified and praised is the Name of the Holy Blessed One, whose glory transcends all praises, songs, and blessings that can be rendered unto Her. And say, Amen.

3. Reader's (Half) Kaddish, English translation (Gates of Prayer, Chaim Stern and CCAR, 1975)

Let the glory of God be extolled, let His great name be hallowed in the world whose creation He willed. May His kingdom soon prevail, in our own day, our own lives, and the life of all Israel, and let us say: Amen.

Let His great name be blessed for ever and ever.

Let the name of the Holy One, blessed is He, be glorified, exalted, and honored, though He is beyond all praises, songs, and adorations we can utter, and let us say: Amen.

4. Chatzi (Half) Kaddish, English Translation (Mishkan T'filah, Elyse D. Frishman and CCAR, 2007)

Exalted and hallowed be God's great name, in the world which God created, according to plan. May God's majesty be revealed in the days of our lifetime and in the life of all Israel--speedily, imminently. To which we say: Amen.

Blessed be God's great name to all eternity.

Blessed, praised, honored, exalted, extolled, glorified, adored, and lauded be the name of the Holy Blessed One, beyond all earthly words and songs of blessing, praise, and comfort. To which we say: Amen.

5. Amidah, First Blessing, Siddur Nashim

Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, and G-d of our mothers and fathers, G-d of Sarah and Abraham, G-d of Rebekah and Isaac, and G-d of Rachel, Leah, and Jacob, the G-d who is great, mighty, and awesome. Lord, most high, You pour forth grace and possess all. You remember the pious deeds of our ancestors and in love will bring a redeemer to us, their children's children, for the sake of Your Name.

Ruler, Helper, Redeemer, and Shield. Blessed are You, Adonai, shield of Sarah, shelter of Abraham.

5. Amidah, First Blessing, Mishkan T'filah

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, God of our fathers and mothers, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob, God of Sarah, God of Rebekah, God of Rachel, and God of Leah, the great, mighty, and awesome God, transcendent God who bestows lovingkindess, creates everything out of love, remembers the love of our fathers and mothers, and bring redemption to their children's children for the sake of the Divine Name. Sovereign, Deliverer, Helper, and Shield, Blessed are You, Adonai, Sarah's Helper, Abraham's Shield.

6. Prayer on Menstruation (Siddur Nashim)

(to be said on the first day of menstruation)

Lord our God and God of our mothers, accept this day my offering of blood.

It is a sign between You and Your daughters of our dependence upon You. For You not only created us, but breathed into us the breath of life, which is blood and You renew every month that life within us.

The blood is a gift from You to us, as You said, "The breath of life is in the blood and I have given it to you to make atonement for your soul; for it is in the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life." (Leviticus 17:11)

The blood is a gift from You to us, for through our blood we breathe the breath of life into our creations.

Blessed are You, Adonai, who continually recreates within us the blood of life.

May it be Your will, Lord our God and God of our mothers and fathers that the day soon come when Your Presence will return to dwell within us. Then our blood will no longer be needed for atonement, and all our womb's strength will be directed toward replenishing the earth and assisting You in the deliverance of a full creation. Amen.
