Traditional Siddur Ashkenaz, Aleinu

It is upon us to praise the Sovereign of the universe, and proclaim the greatness of the Creator, who did not make us like the nations of the earth. And who did not place us like the families of the land. Who did not make our portion like theirs, nor our destiny like theirs. They bow down to vanity and emptiness and pray to a god who cannot save.
