Barukh eil elyon asher natan m’nuha,
l’nafsheinu fidyon misheit va’anaha.
V’hu yidrosh l’tsiyon ir hanidaha.
ad ana tugyon nefesh ne’enaha?
Hashomeir shabbat, habein im habat,
la’eil yeiratsu k’minha al mahavat.
Rokheiv ba’aravot, melekh olamim,
et amo lishbot izein ban’imim.
B’ma’akhalot areivot, b’minei mat’amim,
b’malbushei khavod zevah mishpaha.

Hemdat hayamim k’ra’o eili tsur,
v’ashrei litmimim im yihye natsur.
Keter hilumim al rosham yatsur,
tsur ha’olamim ruho bam naha.
Zakhor et yom hashabbat l’kad’sho,
karno ki gav’ha neizer al rosho.
Al kein yitein ha’adam l’nafsho
oneg v’gam simha, bahem lo l’mosh’ha.
Kodesh hi lakhem shabbat hamalka,
el tokh bateikhem l’haniah b’rakha.
B’khol mosh’voteikhem lo ta’asu m’lakha,
b’neikhem uv’noteikhem, eved v’gam shifha.
Blessed is the Most Exalted G-d Who gave contentment;
for our souls it is relief from ravage and groaning.
May he seek out Zion, the outcast city,
how long, the grieving for the groaning soul!
Whoever keeps the Sabbath, - son and daughter alike, - May they find G-d's favour like a meal-offering in a sacred pan.

B’mishneh lehem v’kiddush raba, B’rov mat’amim v’ruah n’diva, Yizku l’rav tuv hamit’an’gim bah B’viat go’eil l’hayei ha’olam haba. |

It is a tree of life for those who cling to it, and those who uphold it are happy. Its ways are pleasant, and all of its paths peaceful. Return us to you, God, so that we shall return, renew our days as of old.

Mitzvah Gedolah Lihiyot B'Simcha Tamid
It is a Mitzvah to always be happy
טוֹב לְהֹדוֹת לַה', וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן. לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּֽקֶר חַסְדֶּֽךָ, וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת
Tov l'hodot la'hashem, ulzamer l'shimcha elyon, l'hagid baboker chasdecha v'emunatcha baleylot.
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High;
To declare Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness in the night seasons.
צוּר מִשֶּׁלּוֹ אָכַֽלְנוּ בָּרְכוּ אֱמוּנַי,
שָׂבַֽעְנוּ וְהוֹתַֽרְנוּ כִּדְבַר יְיָ.

I speak your praises both morning and evening, to You, Holy Gd, who created all Life: Sacred spirits and human beings, beasts of the field and birds of the sky.
Great and mighty are Your deeds, humbling the proud and raising the humble. Even if one were to live a thousand years, these would not suffice to fathom Your might.
O Gd, to whom glory and greatness belong, save Your flock from the lions’ jaws. Bring Your people out of exile, the people which You chose from among all nations.
Return to Your Temple and to the Holy of Holies, the place where spirits and souls can rejoice. They will sing to You songs and melodies in Jerusalem, city of beauty.
