וַיִּפֹּל עַל צַוְּארֵי בִנְיָמִן - What the Neck is Going On?
See the source sheet here
  1. Why does the Torah say “צוארי” (necks) in the plural?
  2. Why does Yosef respond to his revelation with intense physical emotion—embracing, kissing, and crying, especially with Binyamin?
  3. Why is reconciliation initiated by the injured party?
  4. Why do the brothers speak only after Joseph cries over all of them?
  5. What did they speak about?

(4) And when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of his brothers, they hated him so that they could not speak a friendly word to him.

(3) Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph. Is my father still well?” But his brothers could not answer him, so dumbfounded were they on account of him.

(14) With that he embraced his brother Benjamin around the neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. (15) He kissed all his brothers and wept upon them; only then were his brothers able to talk to him.
