(סג) וַיֵּצֵ֥א יִצְחָ֛ק לָשׂ֥וּחַ בַּשָּׂדֶ֖ה לִפְנ֣וֹת עָ֑רֶב וַיִּשָּׂ֤א עֵינָיו֙ וַיַּ֔רְא וְהִנֵּ֥ה גְמַלִּ֖ים בָּאִֽים׃
(63) And Isaac went out walking in the field toward evening and, looking up, he saw camels approaching.
לשוח. לְשׁוֹן תְּפִלָּה, כְּמוֹ יִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחוֹ (תהילים ק"ב):
לשוח. this means “to pray” (Genesis Rabbah 60:14), similarly, "he pours out his complaint." (Psalms 102:1)
לשוח. ללכת בין השיחים:
to meditate. The word la-su’ach [means] to walk among the trees.
ויצא יצחק לשוח. נטה מן הדרך על דעת לשפוך שיחו לפני יהוה
בשדה שלא יפסיקוהו עוברי דרכים.
And Isaac went out to meditate. He detoured from his regular path in order to pour out his heart to God in the field, so travelers on the road would not interrupt him.
(סז)וַיְבִאֶ֣הָ יִצְחָ֗ק הָאֹ֙הֱלָה֙ שָׂרָ֣ה אִמּ֔וֹ וַיִּקַּ֧ח אֶת־רִבְקָ֛ה וַתְּהִי־ל֥וֹ לְאִשָּׁ֖ה וַיֶּאֱהָבֶ֑הָ וַיִּנָּחֵ֥ם יִצְחָ֖ק אַחֲרֵ֥י אִמּֽוֹ׃
(67) Isaac then brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he took Rebekah as his wife. And Isaac loved her and he was comforted after his mother’s death.
