Passover: The Egyptian Hallel
Israel's Response to the Exodus - Built into the Seder Experience - Recited on Seder night and on the 7 days of Passover:

(א) הַ֥לְלוּ־יָ֨הּ ׀ הַ֭לְלוּ עַבְדֵ֣י יי הַֽ֝לְל֗וּ אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם יי׃ (ב) יְהִ֤י שֵׁ֣ם יי מְבֹרָ֑ךְ מֵ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ (ג) מִמִּזְרַח־שֶׁ֥מֶשׁ עַד־מְבוֹא֑וֹ מְ֝הֻלָּ֗ל שֵׁ֣ם יי׃ (ד) רָ֖ם עַל־כׇּל־גּוֹיִ֥ם ׀ יי עַ֖ל הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃ (ה) מִ֭י כַּיי אֱלֹקֵ֑ינוּ הַֽמַּגְבִּיהִ֥י לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ (ו) הַֽמַּשְׁפִּילִ֥י לִרְא֑וֹת בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם וּבָאָֽרֶץ׃ (ז) מְקִ֥ימִ֣י מֵעָפָ֣ר דָּ֑ל מֵ֝אַשְׁפֹּ֗ת יָרִ֥ים אֶבְיֽוֹן׃ (ח) לְהוֹשִׁיבִ֥י עִם־נְדִיבִ֑ים עִ֝֗ם נְדִיבֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹ׃ (ט) מֽוֹשִׁיבִ֨י ׀ עֲקֶ֬רֶת הַבַּ֗יִת אֵֽם־הַבָּנִ֥ים שְׂמֵחָ֗ה הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ {פ}

(1) Hallelujah. O servants of the LORD, give praise; praise the name of the LORD. (2) Let the name of the LORD be blessed now and forever. (3) From east to west the name of the LORD is praised. (4) The LORD is exalted above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. (5) Who is like the LORD our God, who, enthroned on high, (6) sees what is below, in heaven and on earth? (7) He raises the poor from the dust, lifts up the needy from the refuse heap (8) to set them with the great, with the great men of His people. (9) He sets the childless woman among her household as a happy mother of children. Hallelujah.

Nature's Response to The Exodus:

(1) When Israel went forth from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange speech, (2) Judah became His holy one, Israel, His dominion. (3) The sea saw them and fled, Jordan ran backward, (4) mountains skipped like rams, hills like sheep. (5) What alarmed you, O sea, that you fled, Jordan, that you ran backward, (6) mountains, that you skipped like rams, hills, like sheep? (7) Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, (8) who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flinty rock into a fountain.

Who wrote Hallel? Some Theories:
Rabbi Yosi: Moses and all of Israel said Hallel when emerged safely from the sea.
Rabbi Eliezer: Moses and all of Isael said Hallel when they stood before the sea.
Rabbi Yeyoshua: Joshua and all of Israel said Hallel when all of the Kings of Canaan gathered against them.
Rabbi Eliezer HaModei: Devorah and Barak said Hallel when Sisera threatened them.
Rabbi Eliezer Ben Azaria: King Chizkiyahu and his court said Hallel when the wicked Sennacherib threatened them.
Rabbi Yosi HaGalli said that Mordechai and Esther said Hallel when Haman threatened them
The Sages said that the prophets of Israel composed Hallel so that the people could recite it upon every great event and in every period of danger; they will also recite Hallel upon the final redemption.
King David composed Hallel
Hallel was established by the early prophets, but then was elaborated upon in successive generations as a result of histic occasions which stimulated the outpouring of praise for God. King David compiled them in the Psalms. (Teshuvah Me'Ahavah Vol II, response 264)
Guided Meditation on Freedom(Inspired by Psalms 113–114)
Take a moment to settle in. Close your eyes… and take a slow, deep breath in…And a long, gentle breath out.Feel the ground beneath you. Feel the rhythm of your breath guiding you home to yourself.
As you breathe in, imagine standing at the edge of something vast…A wide, open horizon.Behind you: the weight of what’s been.Ahead: the quiet promise of freedom.
Breathe out…Let go of what you’ve been carrying.Old fears, old stories, old expectations—release them with the exhale.
Breathe in… and feel the presence of something greater. Something steady, gentle, powerful. A force that lifts the weary, that opens paths where none seemed to exist. A force that is with you… now. Ask yourself softly: Where in my life do I long to be free? What am I ready to release?
Now, breathe out…Surrender your need to know all the answers.Trust the unfolding.Breathe in gratitude—for every step that brought you here. For the quiet strength within you.For the joy that rises… even from the dust.
When you’re ready… slowly open your eyes. Carry this sense of freedom, of lightness, with you. You are not alone. The journey is unfolding… and you are already on your way.
