וְיָדַעְתָּ֣ הַיּ֗וֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֮ אֶל־לְבָבֶ֒ךָ֒ כִּ֤י יהוה ה֣וּא הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם מִמַּ֔עַל וְעַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ מִתָּ֑חַת אֵ֖ין עֽוֹד׃
Know therefore this day and keep in mind that the LORD alone is God in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other.
פֵּירוּשׁ, שֶׁגַּם הָאָרֶץ הַחוּמְרִית שֶׁנִּרְאֵית יֵשׁ גָּמוּר לְעֵין כֹּל, הִיא אַיִן וָאֶפֶס מַמָּשׁ לְגַבֵּי הַקָּדוֹשׁ־בָּרוּךְ־הוּא.
"In the heaven above and on the earth below there is nothing else." This means that even the material earth, which appears to the eyes of all to be utter Being actually is naught and complete nothingness in relation to the Holy One blessed be He.
