(ג) הֲרֵינִי מוּכָן וּמְזוּמָן לְקַיֵּים מִצְוַת סֻכָּה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוַּנִי הַבּוֹרֵא יִתְבָּרַךְ שְׁמוֹ בַּסֻּכּוֹת תֵּשְׁבוּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים כָּל הָאֶזְרָח בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל יֵשְׁבוּ בַּסֻּכּוֹת: לְמַעַן יֵדְעוּ דֹרֹתֵיכֶם כִּי בַסֻּכּוֹת הוֹשַׁבְתִּי אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּהוֹצִיאִי אוֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם:
(ד) תִּיבוּ תִּיבוּ אוּשְׁפִּיזִין עִילָאִין, תִּיבוּ תִּיבוּ אוּשְׁפִּיזִין קַדִּישִׁין, תִּיבוּ תִּיבוּ אוּשְׁפִּיזִין דִמְהֵימְנוּתָא, זַכָּאָה חוּלְקֵיהוֹן דְיִשְׂרָאֵל דִּכְתִיב כִּי חֵלֶק יהוה עַמּוֹ יַעֲקֹב חֶבֶל נַחֲלָתוֹ:
(ה) יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ יהוה אֱלֹהַי וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתַי שֶׁתַּשְׁרֶה שְׁכִינָתְךָ בֵּינֵינוּ וְתִפְרוֹס עָלֵינוּ סֻכַּת שְׁלוֹמֶךָ בִּזְכוּת מִצְוַת סֻכָּה שֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ מְקַיְּמִין לְיַחְדָא שְׁמָא דְקוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ בִּדְחִילוּ וּרְחִימוּ לְיַחֲדָא שֵׁם י"ה בו"ה בְּיִחוּדָא שְׁלִים בְּשֵׁם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל, וּלְהַקִּיף אוֹתָם מִזִּיו כְּבוֹדֶךָ הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהַטָּהוֹר נָטוּי עַל רָאשֵׁיהֶם מִלְּמָעְלָה כְּנֶשֶׁר יָעִיר קִנּוֹ, וּמִשָּׁם יוּשְׁפַּע שֶׁפַע הַחַיִּים לְעַבְדֶּךָ (פב"פ אֲמָתֶךָ) . וּבִזְכוּת צֵאתִי מִבֵּיתִי הַחוּצָה וְדֶרֶךְ מִצְוֹתֶיךָ אָרוּצָה יֵחָשֵׁב לִי זֹאת כְּאִלּוּ הִרְחַקְתִּי נְדוֹד, וְהֶרֶב כַּבְּסֵנִי מֵעֲוֹנִי וּמֵחַטָּאתִי טַהֲרֵנִי, וּמֵאוּשְׁפִּיזִין עִלָּאִין אוּשְׁפִּיזִין דִּמְהֵימְנוּתָא תִּהְיֶינָה אָזְנֶיךָ קַשּׁוּבוֹת רַב בְּרָכוֹת, וְלָרְעֵבִים גַּם צְמֵאִים תֶּן לַחְמָם וּמֵימָם הַנֶּאֱמָנִים, וְתִתֶּן לִי זְכוּת לָשֶׁבֶת וְלַחֲסוֹת בְּסֵתֶר צֵל כְּנָפֶךָ בְּעֵת פְּטִירָתִי מִן הָעוֹלָם, וְלַחֲסוֹת מִזֶּרֶם וּמִמָּטָר, כִּי תַמְטִיר עַל רְשָׁעִים פַּחִים, וּתְהֵא חֲשׁוּבָה מִצְוַת סֻכָּה זוּ שֶׁאֲנִי מְקַיֵּם כְּאִלּוּ קִיַּמְתִּיהָ בְּכָל פְּרָטֶיהָ וְדִקְדּוּקֶיהָ וּתְנָאֶיהָ וְכָל מִצְוֹת הַתְּלוּיִם בָּהּ. וְתֵיטִיב לָנוּ הַחֲתִימָה, וּתְזַכֵּנוּ לֵישֵׁב יָמִים רַבִּים עַל הָאֲדָמָה אַדְמַת קֹדֶשׁ בַּעֲבוֹדָתֶךָ וּבְיִרְאָתֶךָ: בָּרוּךְ יהוה לְעוֹלָם אָמֵן וְאָמֵן:
I am ready and prepared to uphold the practice of Sukkah as I have been commanded by the blessed Creator - "You shall dwell in sukkot for seven days. All native Israelites should dwell in sukkot."
Sit down, have a seat, supernal guests. Sit down, have a seat, holy guests. Sit down, have a seat, trustworthy guests. We are so lucky. As it says - "God's people are her portion, the people of Jacob her inheritance.
May it be your will, HVYH, my god and the god of my ancestors, that Your divine presence be here amongst us, and that you spread over us Your canopy of peace.
May we merit this through the practice of Sukkah which we are doing with the intent of bringing together the Names of the holy, blessed One and the divine presence, which we are doing in awe and love, which we are doing with the intent to connect the Name YH with the Name VH so that they are completely united, which we are doing for the sake of all of Israel, may they all be enveloped in the pure and holy glow of your glory, stretched over their heads like an eagles wings protecting its nest, and may this be a source of life for me and all who are sitting here with me. And may You accept the fact that I have left my home to go outside, as if I had wandered far seeking You, and may you cleanse me from my sins and wash off my wrongdoings. And as I join my prayers to those of the supernal guests, the trustworthy guests, please me attentive, O master of blessing. Be a reliable source of bread and water for those who are hungry and thirsty. Allow me the privilege to dwell and shelter in the shadow of your wings when my time comes to leave the world. Be my shelter from rain and strong currents. Please consider this practice of Sukkah that I am doing as if I had done it as it should be done with precision and proper care for all the necessary details, and with all the other related practices.
Make this enclosure good for us, and may we merit to dwell on this earth for many days, this holy earth where we can serve and be in Awe of You.
