An abbreviation of the fundamentals of Judaism as written by the Rambam in the Commentary of the Mishnah.
הי"ג יסודות העיקרים ביהדות
א) יסוד היסודות לידע שיש שם מצוי, ושהוא בתכלית השלימות ואין צריך לכל.
ב) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה באחדות הבורא יתברך שמו ושאין יחיד כיחודו.
ג) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שאין להיחוד הנאמר גוף ואין לו משיגי ומאורעות הגוף.
ד) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שהבורא יתברך שמו הוא ראשון לכל וברא את כל העולם.
ה) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שהבורא יתברך שמו לו לבדו ראוי לעבוד ולא לשום כח אחר או מליץ זולתו.
ו) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שלעיתים מתנבא הבורא יתברך שמו לבני אדם הראויים.
ז) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שמשה רבינו עליו השלום המובחר שבאנשים היה אב לנביאים במדרגת נביאתו לקודמים לו ולבאים אחריו.
ח) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שכל התורה ופירושיה נתונה לנו ע"י משה רבינו מפי הגבורה.
ט) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שזאת התורה ופירושיה לא תהא מוחלפת ולא תהא אחרת.
י) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שהבורא יתברך שמו יודע מעשה בני אדם ואינו מעלים עינו מהם.
יא) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שהבורא יתברך שמו גומל טוב לשומרי מצוותיו, וזהו העולם הבא, ומעניש לעוברי מצוותיו.
יב) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה בביאת המשיח, ואף על פי שיתמהמה עם כל זה אחכה לו שיבוא ויחזר המלכות לבית דוד, ואין לדרוש אחר זמנה.
יג) אני מאמין באמונה שלמה שעתיד שתהיה תחיית המתים בגוף אנישי להראויים לה.
The Fundamentals of the Jewish Faith
1) The foundation of fundamentals is to be aware of the existence of a Creator who is most perfect and has no deficiencies.
2) I believe in the Creator's oneness which is like no other.
3) I believe that the Creator has no bodily form nor any of its limitations.
4) I believe that the Creator created the world by himself and preceded all creation.
5) I believe that no entity aside from he creator is worthy of worship.
6) I believe that, at times, the Creator prophecy's to the worthy.
7) I believe that Moshe Rabbeinu, the chosen of mankind, was the leader in prophecy for those who preceded him and for those who succeeded him.
8) I believe that our entire Torah was given to us by Hashem via Moshe Rabbeinu.
9) I believe that no part of our Torah was modified or replaced, nor shall it ever be modified or replaced.
10) I believe that Hashem perpetually supervises all action of man.
11) I believe in the eventual reward for any good deeds, which will take place in the World to Come, and for the punishments for any bad deeds.
12) I believe in the coming of Mashiach, I am unfazed in its delay, who will reestablish the Davidic dynasty. However, we should not dwell on its time of arrival.
13) I believe in the eventual resurrection of the dead, into human body, to those who are worthy.
