(15) And God said further to Moses, “Thus shall you speak to the Israelites: יהוה,*יהוה This name (y-h-w-h; traditionally read Adonai “the Lord”) is here associated with the verb hayah “to be.” the God of your fathers’ [house]—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you:
This shall be My name forever,
This My appellation for all eternity.(16) “Go and assemble the elders of Israel and say to them: יהוה, the God of your fathers’ [house]—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me and said, ‘I have taken note of you and of what is being done to you in Egypt,(17) and I have declared: I will take you out of the misery of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.’(18) They will listen to you; then you shall go with the elders of Israel to the king of Egypt and you shall say to him, ‘יהוה, the God of the Hebrews, became manifest to us. Now therefore, let us go a distance of three days into the wilderness to sacrifice to our God יהוה.’

(24) At length, Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. God will surely take notice of you and bring you up from this land to the land promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”(25) So Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, “When God has taken notice of you, you shall carry up my bones from here.”

SERAH BAT ASHER
Exodus Rabbah 5:13
Aaron spoke all of the words (Exodus 4.30), he did as The Holy One, Blessed be He, said: “He will speak for you to the people.”He made the signs in the view of the people, as He had told him previously to do. And the people believed. They did as The Holy One Blessed He had said: “They shall hearken to your voice” (Exodus 3.18). Do not conclude that they believed only after that they had seen the signs, rather they believed because they heard, and not because they saw the signs.
And what made them believe? The sign of [God’s] visit which He communicated to them, for in this there was a tradition passed down from Jacob, Jacob handed down the secret to Joseph and Joseph to his brothers, and Asher son of Jacob had passed down the secret to Serah, his daughter, who was still alive. And this he told her: “any redeemer that will come and say to my children: ‘I will surely visit you’, he is a true redeemer.”
Being that Moshe came and said “I will surely visit you,” the people immediately believed him. In this they believed, because they heard the word “visitation”. Of this it is written: “Because God visited the children of Israel and because He had seen their suffering, then they bowed their heads and worship (Exodus 4:31).” They bowed at [God’s] visitation and they worshiped God because He had seen their affliction.
