רֶגַע שֶׁל עִבְרִית A Moment of Hebrew

(ה) וְעָנִ֨יתָ וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ לִפְנֵ֣י ׀ יהוה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אֲרַמִּי֙ אֹבֵ֣ד אָבִ֔י וַיֵּ֣רֶד מִצְרַ֔יְמָה וַיָּ֥גׇר שָׁ֖ם בִּמְתֵ֣י מְעָ֑ט וַֽיְהִי־שָׁ֕ם לְג֥וֹי גָּד֖וֹל עָצ֥וּם וָרָֽב׃
You shall then recite before God your Lord: “My father was a wandering Aramean. He went down to Egypt in small numbers and stayed; but there he became a large nation.”
לָרֶדֶת (laredet) (שֹׁרֶשׁ י.ר.ד)
  • To go down, come down
יְרִיד (yerid) = A fair, market
מוֹרָד (morad) = Slope, hillside
יָרַד מֵהַפַּסִּים (yarad mei-hapasim) = Went off the tracks, went crazy
Find the Word!
