יֹ֭שֵׁב בְּסֵ֣תֶר עֶלְי֑וֹן בְּצֵ֥ל שַׁ֝דַּ֗י יִתְלוֹנָֽן׃
O you who dwell in the shelter of the Most High
and abide in the protection of Shaddai—
and abide in the protection of Shaddai—
יִקְרָאֵ֨נִי ׀ וְֽאֶעֱנֵ֗הוּ עִמּֽוֹ־אָנֹכִ֥י בְצָרָ֑ה אֲ֝חַלְּצֵ֗הוּ וַאֲכַבְּדֵֽהוּ׃
When he calls on Me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in distress;
I will rescue him and make him honored;
I will be with him in distress;
I will rescue him and make him honored;
יושב בסתר עליון. מי שהוא חוסה בסתר כנפי השכינה הוא יתלונן בצלו שהקב"ה מגין עליו הרי משה רבינו זה משיא את בני האדם לחסות בכנפי השכינה:
He who dwells in the covert of the Most High He who takes shelter in the covert of the wings of the Shechinah.
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲבָל֙ שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתְּךָ֗ יֹלֶ֤דֶת לְךָ֙ בֵּ֔ן וְקָרָ֥אתָ אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ יִצְחָ֑ק וַהֲקִמֹתִ֨י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֥י אִתּ֛וֹ לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָ֖ם לְזַרְע֥וֹ אַחֲרָֽיו׃
God said, “Nevertheless, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac; and I will maintain My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring to come.
וַאֲמַר יְיָ בְּקוּשְׁטָא שָׂרָה אִתְּתָךְ תְּלִיד לָךְ בָּר וְתִקְרֵי יָת שְׁמֵיהּ יִצְחָק וַאֲקֵים יָת קְיָמִי עִמֵּיהּ לִקְיָם עָלָם לִבְנוֹהִי בַתְרוֹהִי:
Elohim said: Indeed, your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will name him Yitzchok. I will establish My covenant with him as an eternal covenant to his descendants after him.
