
(טו) וַיִּקַּ֛ח ה' אֱלֹקִ֖ים אֶת־הָֽאָדָ֑ם וַיַּנִּחֵ֣הוּ בְגַן־עֵ֔דֶן לְעָבְדָ֖הּ וּלְשָׁמְרָֽהּ׃
(15) Adonai Eloheinu took the human and placed it in the garden of Eden, to plant seeds and water them and guard it.
What does God want the human to do?
(א) לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר לַֽ֭ה' הָאָ֣רֶץ וּמְלוֹאָ֑הּ תֵּ֝בֵ֗ל וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ׃
(1) Of David. A psalm. The earth belongs to Adonai, and all that it holds, the world and its inhabitants.
What is the difference between the earth belonging to God and the earth belonging to us?

(כ) צֶ֥דֶק צֶ֖דֶק תִּרְדֹּ֑ף לְמַ֤עַן תִּֽחְיֶה֙ וְיָרַשְׁתָּ֣ אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ה' אֱלֹקֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לָֽךְ׃ (ס)
(20) Justice, justice you should go after, so you can be healthy and live in the land that the Adonai Eloheinu is giving you.
