Parashat Ki Tavo

(1) And it shall be, when You come in unto the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance, and you take possession of it, and dwell in it;

Four things are called an inheritance:

The Temple in Jerusalem is called an inheritance, as it is said:

"On the Mountain of Your Inheritance."

The Land of Israel is referred to as an inheritance, as it is said:

"In the Land that The Lord, Your God, gives you as an inheritance." Deut 15

Similarly, The Torah is called an inheritance, as it is said:

"And from Matanah to Nachaliel." Numbers 21

And Israel is called an inheritance, as it is said:

"Israel, My People and My Inheritance." Yoel 4

The Holy Blessed One said:

"Israel, which is called an inheritance, will come to the Land of Israel, which is called an inheritance, and will build the Temple which is called an inheritance, all because of the Torah which is called an inheritance. Thus it said: On the mountain is your inheritance.

Mekhilta - Beshalakh 10

The Mikdash as Inheritance

(17) You bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, The place, O LORD, which You have made for You to dwell in, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.

The Land of Israel as Inheritance

(19) Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies from around you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it...

Torah as an Inheritance

(19) and from Mattanah to Nahaliel; and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;

The People Israel as God's Inheritance

(1) For, behold, in those days, and in that time, When I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, (2) I will gather all nations, And will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there For My people and for My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations, And divided My land.
