Egyptian Respect
The part of the Torah that states the commandment:
(ח) לֹֽא־תְתַעֵ֣ב אֲדֹמִ֔י כִּ֥י אָחִ֖יךָ ה֑וּא (ס) לֹא־תְתַעֵ֣ב מִצְרִ֔י כִּי־גֵ֖ר הָיִ֥יתָ בְאַרְצֽוֹ׃
(8) You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your kinsman. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, for you were a stranger in his land.
The comment of Rashi on the part of the Torah. Rashi is one of the most, if not the most, important commentator of the Torah.

(ח) לא תתעב מצרי. מכל וכל, אף על פי שזרקו זכוריכם ליאור מה טעם, שהיו לכם אכסניא בשעת הדחק. לפיכך:

(8) לא תתעב מצרי THOU SHALT NOT ABHOR AN EGYPTIAN all in all (utterly), although they cast your male children into the river. And what is the reason that you should not abhor him utterly? Because they were your hosts in time of need (during Joseph’s reign when the neighbouring countries suffered from famine); therefore although they sinned against you do not utterly abhor him, but —

This is a more detailed explanation on how the obligation given in the Torah is applied in concrete.

(א) שלא להרחיק מצרי דור שלישי - שנמנענו (עי' רמב''ם ל''ת נה) שלא להרחיק ולתעב המצרי מהתחתן עמו בדור השלישי אחר שיתגיר, ועל זה נאמר (דברים כג ח) לא תתעב מצרי כי גר היית בארצו. כל ענין מצוה זו במצרי, כענין מצות אדומי הקודמת, אין צרך להאריך בה.

(1) Not to distance an Egyptian of the third generation: That we were prevented from distancing and despising an Egyptian [such that we not] marry with him in the third generation after he converts (see Sefer HaMitzvot LaRambam, Mitzvot Lo Taase 55). And about this is it stated (Deuteronomy 23:8), "you shall not despise an Egyptian, for you were a stranger in his land." All the matter of this commandment is like the previous matter of the Edomite. [Hence] there is no reason to write at length about it.
