אמר דוד לפני הקב״ה רבונו של עולם, אימתי יבא אותו האור?
אמר לו לכשיגיע הקץ, ותבנה ירושלים — אני מביאו, קומי אורי כי בא אורך מדרש שוח״ט כ״ז
David said before Hashem, “When will the Light be revealed?” He said, “When the end arrives, and Yerushalayim is rebuilt- then I will reveal the Light: Rise up, my Light, for your Light has come (midrash שוחר טוב י"ז).
הנה חיים אנו בדור ״דעה״, בדור של אור ״המדע״, אורה של המאה
העשרים, לאורה הולכים כל גוי הארץ, ומשפחות האדמה, זהר וזיו של שמש ״ההשכלה והמדע״ שקוראין ציבילליזצי׳ חודרת ומתפזרת בכל העולם כולו... ולאורה נוסעים והולכים כל הבריות, ובונים בתי מדע,
מבצרי חכמה והשכלה, להאיר לארץ ולדרים עליה.

However, what we see is truly a wonder of wonders. While the creators of the new “light sources” multiplied, a dense dark fog has covered the Earth, and we see a world of darkness; when “Light, Knowledge” multiplied, suffering was increased, and whatever adds knowledge- increases suffering… and in the shining light of the dawn of the “New Age”- human beings were struck blind, dwellers in darkness and the shadow of death…

As the light of “Animals” shone, meaning the advocates of animal rights, human oppressors and human murderers multiplied. משנראו מאורות ״הזמן״ — מאורות ״המאה העשרים״, מאורות ״הדרור והחופש״, מאורות ״הרנסנס״ — תחת להאיר ולהבהיק מזיווה, ולהפיץ קרני זוהר לכל יושבי תבל — וחשיכו אלי ואליך, החשיבו פני ישראל, באים עליהם בעלילות דם, בעלילת ״זקני ציון״ מאשימים אותנו בחמסנות, בגזלנות. ובלסטות, כובשו ארצות ומדינות של אחרים אנחנו גזלנו מבני ישמעאל את ארץ מולדתם, ואת עיר הק׳ ירושלים שלהם, ושידינו ככל וככול, ״ושישראל״ עליך״ ארץ פלישתים האומללה! וכהנה וכהנה עלילות ושקרים, וחושדים אותנו כאמת כמה שיש בהם ובעצמם, שעשו ושעושיס מעשה לסטות וחמסנות זה לזה, ועלינו הם צועקים חטפו את הגנב הישראלי!...
This is really an eclipse: because when the lights of “our time”- the lights of the “20th Century”, lights of “Liberty and Freedom”, lights of the “Renaissance”- instead of illuminating and basking in its radiance, spreading shining rays across all those who dwell on Earth- there is darkness spread over both you and me. They have spread darkness over the face of Israel, they come with their blood libels, with the libel of the “Elders of Zion” they accuse us of aggression, thievery, robbery, conquering other lands and stealing from the Ishmaelites their homeland, and their holy city of Yerushalayim, and that we are responsible for anything and everything. And that Israel is really the dejected Land of Palestine! Thus the story of “The Great Lights” that man created, devastation, destruction, darkness, and the shadow of death. For “the decree of the Lord of ‘Let there be lights in the heavens’” – it is written, the light that gives light for generations has its source in the heavens, truly luminous light, whose secret essence is in the heavens, a place without jealousy or hate, where there is no competition, honor-chasers, seekers of gold and silver and no impurities, there is no vanity and falsehood, because for the true light we need a higher mindset of the One and Only “Creator of Lights.” For the new lights called culture and civilization were not created in the heavens above, but on the Earth below, the product of men, with no higher mindset. ובא הפיטץ ומגלה לנו אור האמתי, אור הבלתי מתעה ומסמא, ״אור עולם באוצר חיים״! אין זה אור עולם —
המביא תקלה כעולם וגורם למיתתם של בני האדם, אלא ״אור עולם״ הוא ״כאוצר החיים״! — המביא חיים ורפאות בעולם, שמש צדקה מרפא בכנפיה. ״אורות מאופל״, שמהפך את האפל לאורות, לא שגורם חורבן וכליון, כי השם אמר ״יהי אור״! אמר ״ויהי״. אורו של עולם הוא
״לחנותו״ לקיומו, לחיותו, להניתו, ולא לבטולו.

והנה בא דוד — סמל כנסת ישראל — לפני הקב״ה ושאל, אימתי יבא אותו האור? מתי יודע ש״האור החדש״ שכל עמי הארץ ״בעלי הצביליזצי׳״ המתעסקים
והמטפלים והמתפארים באורם, שמכנים ״קולטורה״ — הוא האור האמיתי שמקורו הוא משמים, אור שמאיר ולא שמכלה?? אמר הקב״ה סימן זה יהי׳ בידם כשיגיע הקץ, היינו הקץ והסוף של שנאת העמים
לעמו ישראל ותתבנה ירושלים עיר הק׳ ואור חדש על ציון יאיר, בלי מפריע לא מצד שונאינו ולא מצד ״אוהבינו״ — ויכירו וידעו כל הגרים כי מי כעמך גוי אחד בארצנו הק׳. וד׳ הוא השוכן בציון — אז נוכח
ונדע שמתקיים מאמר ד׳ יהי אור — ויהי אור! אור שהבהיק הקב״ה מזיו הדרו לכל העולם.
So David - the symbol of the Assembly of Israel - comes before Hashem and asks, “When will this Light come?” When will “The new light” be made known to all the “civilized” boorish nations of the Earth who devote themselves and exalt themselves in their light we call “Culture” – when will they know that this is the true light, light that truly illuminates and not light that devours?? Hashem says this sign will be presented when the End arrives, meaning the end of the hatred of the other nations towards Israel and the holy city of Yerushalayim will be rebuilt. Then He will shine a New Light on Zion, without hinderance from our enemies nor our “friends” – and all the nations will recognize that there is no comparison to Your nation Israel in our land, and Hashem is He who dwells in Zion- only then will we know the saying of Hashem “Let their be light- and there was Light!” – light that Hashem Himself will shine forth from His own radiance to the entire world.
