וְלָֽקְחוּ֙ פַּ֣ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֔ר וּמִ֨נְחָת֔וֹ סֹ֖לֶת בְּלוּלָ֣ה בַשָּׁ֑מֶן וּפַר־שֵׁנִ֥י בֶן־בָּקָ֖ר תִּקַּ֥ח לְחַטָּֽאת׃
Numbers 8:8
Let them take a bull of the herd, and with it a meal offering of choice flour with oil mixed in, and you take a second bull of the herd for a sin offering.

Numbers 8:9
You shall bring the Levites forward before the Tent of Meeting. Assemble the Israelite community leadership,*Israelite community leadership Heb. kol ‘adat bene yisra’el, which here denotes a part (“leadership”) that acts on behalf of the whole (“community”). Numbers 8:11
and let Aaron designate*designate Lit. “elevate.” the Levites before יהוה as an elevation offering from the Israelites, that they may perform the service of יהוה.
