וְהִיא שֶׁעָמְדָה לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ וְלָנוּ. שֶׁלֹּא אֶחָד בִּלְבָד עָמַד עָלֵינוּ לְכַלּוֹתֵנוּ, אֶלָּא שֶׁבְּכָל דּוֹר וָדוֹר עוֹמְדִים עָלֵינוּ לְכַלוֹתֵנוּ, וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא מַצִּילֵנוּ מִיָּדָם.
And it is this that has stood for our ancestors and for us; since it is not [only] one [person or nation] that has stood [against] us to destroy us, but rather in each generation, they stand [against] us to destroy us, but the Holy One, blessed be He, rescues us from their hand.
מָה אָשִׁיב לַיהוה כֹּל תַּגְמוּלוֹהִי עָלָי. כּוֹס יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא וּבְשֵׁם יהוה אֶקְרָא. נְדָרַי לַיהוה אֲשַׁלֵּם נֶגְדָה נָּא לְכָל עַמּוֹ. יָקָר בְּעֵינֵי יהוה הַמָּוְתָה לַחֲסִידָיו. אָנָּה יהוה כִּי אֲנִי עַבְדֶּךָ, אֲנִי עַבְדְּךָ בֶּן אֲמָתֶךָ, פִּתַּחְתָּ לְמוֹסֵרָי. לְךָ אֶזְבַּח זֶבַח תּוֹדָה וּבְשֵׁם יהוה אֶקְרָא. נְדָרַי לַיהוה אֲשַׁלֵּם נֶגְדָה נָּא לְכָל עַמּוֹ. בְּחַצְרוֹת בֵּית יהוה, בְּתוֹכֵכִי יְרוּשָלַיִם. הַלְלוּיָהּ.
What can I give back to the Lord for all that He has favored me? A cup of salvations I will raise up and I will call out in the name of the Lord. My vows to the Lord I will pay, now in front of His entire people. Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His pious ones. Please Lord, since I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have opened my chains. To You will I offer a thanksgiving offering and I will call out in the name of the Lord. My vows to the Lord I will pay, now in front of His entire people. In the courtyards of the house of the Lord, in your midst, Jerusalem. Halleluyah! (Psalms 116:12-19)
אֵלִי אַתָּה וְאוֹדֶךָּ, אֱלֹהי – אֲרוֹמְמֶךָּ. אֵלִי אַתָּה וְאוֹדֶךָּ, אֱלֹהי – אֲרוֹמְמֶךָּ.
You are my God and I will Thank You; my God and I will exalt You
כְּאַיָּל תַּעֲרֹג עַל אֲפִיקֵי מָיִם, כֵּן נַפְשִׁי תַעֲרֹג אֵלֶיךָ אֱלֹהִים. צָמְאָה נַפְשִׁי לֵאלֹהִים, לְאֵ-ל חָי: מָתַי אָבוֹא וְאֵרָאֶה פְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים.
Like a deer thirsts for a brook of water, so my soul thirsts for you. My soul thirsts for the living God, when will I appear before my God.
אִם אֶשְׁכָּחֵךְ יְרוּשָׁלָיִם, תִּשְׁכַּח יְמִינִי. תִּדְבַּק לְשׁוֹנִי לְחִכִּי אִם לֹא אֶזְכְּרֵכִי, אִם לֹא אַעֲלֶה אֶת יְרוּשָׁלַֽיִם עַל רֹאשׁ שִׂמְחָתִי
If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my chiefest joy.
וַהֲבִיאוֹתִים אֶל-הַר קָדְשִׁי, וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים בְּבֵית תְּפִלָּתִי--עוֹלֹתֵיהֶם וְזִבְחֵיהֶם לְרָצוֹן, עַל-מִזְבְּחִי: כִּי בֵיתִי, בֵּית-תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל-הָעַמִּים.
Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
לֵב טָהוֹר, בְּרָא-לִי אֱלֹהִים; וְרוּחַ נָכוֹן, חַדֵּשׁ בְּקִרְבִּי. אַל-תַּשְׁלִיכֵנִי מִלְּפָנֶיךָ; וְרוּחַ קָדְשְׁךָ, אַל-תִּקַּח מִמֶּנִּי.
Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a stedfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me.
אָבִֽינוּ מַלְכֵּֽנוּ אֵין לָֽנוּ מֶֽלֶךְ אֶלָּא אָֽתָּה
Our Father, our King, we have no king aside from you
כָּל הָעוֹלָם כֻּלוּ
גֶשֶׁר צַר מְּאֹד
וְהָעִיקָר לאֹ לְפַחֵד כְּלַל
The whole entire world is a very narrow bridge, but the main thing is to recall, is to have no fear at all.
אָנָּא בְּכֹחַ גְּדֻלַּת יְמִינְךָ
תַּתִּיר צְרוּרָה.
קַבֵּל רִנַּת עַמְּךָ,
שַׂגְּבֵנוּ טַהֲרֵנוּ נוֹרָא.
We beg thee with the strength and greatness of the right arm- Untangle our knotted fate. Accept your people's song, elevate and purify us
רַחֵם בְּחַסְדֶּֽךָ עַל עַמְּךָ צוּרֵֽנוּ,
עַל צִיּוֹן מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ
זְבוּל בֵּית תִּפְאַרְתֵּֽנוּ,
בֶּן דָּוִד עַבְדֶּֽךָ יָבוֹא וְיִגְאָלֵֽנוּ,
רֽוּחַ אַפֵּֽינוּ מְשִֽׁיחַ יהוה.
Have mercy in Your graciousness on Your nation, Lord, Our Rock, and upon Zion the dwelling place of Your honor, the Temple of our splendor, and the son of David, Your servant, will come and redeem us, the breath of our life, The Messiah of God
טוֹב לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוה, וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן. לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּֽקֶר חַסְדֶּֽךָ, וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High; to declare Thy loving kindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness in the night seasons.
אנא יהוה...אנא יהוה... כי אני עבדך,
אני עבדך בן אמתך פתחת למוסרי
I beseech Thee, O Lord, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
