וְעַתָּ֣ה יהוה קַח־נָ֥א אֶת־נַפְשִׁ֖י מִמֶּ֑נִּי כִּ֛י ט֥וֹב מוֹתִ֖י מֵחַיָּֽי׃ {פ}
Please, LORD, take my life, for I would rather die than live.”

When Rachel saw that she had borne Jacob no children, she became envious of her sister; and Rachel said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die.”

And it came to pass, when she harassed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that he was sick to death;
Then Israel said to Joseph, “Now I can die, having seen for myself that you are still alive.”
