In her essay, Rabba Dina Brawer looks at the dynamic tension between home and community, reading them as two opposite poles that are both necessary. As we race to return to community, she looks seriously at the unique spiritual gifts of both the home and the community in order to create a spiritual existence that has space for everyone within its framework.
