(יא) חֶסֶד־וֶאֱמֶ֥ת נִפְגָּ֑שׁוּ צֶ֖דֶק וְשָׁל֣וֹם נָשָֽׁקוּ׃ (יב) אֱ֭מֶת מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תִּצְמָ֑ח וְ֝צֶ֗דֶק מִשָּׁמַ֥יִם נִשְׁקָֽף׃ (יג) גַּם־יְ֭הֹוָה יִתֵּ֣ן הַטּ֑וֹב וְ֝אַרְצֵ֗נוּ תִּתֵּ֥ן יְבוּלָֽהּ׃
A psalm of the sons/choir of Korach... (11) Loving- kindness and truth have met one another; righteousness and peace have kissed one another. (12) Truth springs up from the earth; justice gazes down from the sky. (13) And G*d will give Goodness; and our land will yield its produce
Midrash Tanchuma, Vayikra 8:1 Excerpt, (After Yonah is swallowed by the great fish, it swims down to the ocean's depths, showing him things, such as:)
And he saw the Stone of the Foundation there, set in the depths. And he saw the sons of Korach, standing and praying upon it. It said to Yonah, "Behold, you are standing under the Palace of the G!d; pray and you will be answered.
וְרָאָה שָׁם אֶבֶן שְׁתִיָּה קְבוּעָה בַּתְּהוֹמוֹת. וְרָאָה שָׁם בְּנֵי קֹרַח עוֹמְדִין וּמִתְפַּלְּלִין עָלֶיהָ. אָמַר לוֹ לְיוֹנָה, הֲרֵי אַתָּה עוֹמֵד תַּחַת הֵיכַל ה', הִתְפַּלֵּל וְאַתָּה נַעֲנֶה
(3) They gathered an assembly against Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You are too much! For all the community/witnesses are all holy, and the G*d is in their midst. Why then do you raise yourselves above G*d's Kahal?”
(4) Moses heard this, and he fell on his face.
AND WHEN MOSES HEARD IT, HE FELL UPON HIS FACE. It does not say “and they fell [upon their faces],” for Aaron in his modesty and holiness did not utter a word throughout this whole controversy, but he was as one that held his peace, and who admits that Korach’s status was greater than his own, and he only acted according to Moses’ behest, fulfilling the king’s decree.
(30) But if G*d truly creates something amazingly new, so that the earth opens her mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they go down alive into Sheol, you shall know that these men have spurned G*d.” (31) And it was when had he finished speaking all these words that the earth under them split open, (32) and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all Korah’s people and all their possessions. (33) They went down alive into Sheol, with all that belonged to them; the earth closed over them and they vanished from the midst of the kahal/congregation.
