5) Ratzeh - May It Be Accepted
רְצֵה ה' אֱלֹהֵינוּ בְּעַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל,
וּלִתְפִלָּתָם,
וְהָשֵׁב הָעֲבוֹדָה לִדְבִיר בֵּיתֶךָ,
וְאִשֵּׁי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּתְפִלָּתָם מְהֵרָה בְאַהֲבָה תְּקַבֵּל בְּרָצוֹן,
וּתְהִי לְרָצוֹן תָּמִיד עֲבוֹדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ:
וְתֶחֱזֶינָה עֵינֵינוּ בְּשׁוּבְךָ לְצִיּוֹן בְּרַחֲמִים.
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', הַמַּחֲזִיר שְׁכִינָתוֹ לְצִיּוֹן:
5) Ratzeh - May It Be Accepted
Take pleasure, G!D, our Divine Power, in your people, the Jews, and in their prayer.
Return sacred service to your innermost places,
and accept the offerings of Israel and their prayers quickly,
with love,
with desire and receiving --
-- and may you always desire the service of the Jews.
May our eyes see you returning Your Presence to Zion in mercy.
Blessed are you, G!D, who is returning the Shechina to Zion.
6) Modim - Gratitude
מוֹדִים אֲנַחְנוּ לָךְ,
שָׁאַתָּה הוּא ה' אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד,
צוּרֵנוּ, צוּר חַיֵּינוּ
מָגֵן יִשְׁעֵנוּ
אַתָּה הוּא לְדֹר וָדֹר.
נוֹדֶה לְּךָ וּנְסַפֵּר תְּהִלָּתֶךָ,
עַל חַיֵּינוּ הַמְּסוּרִים בְּיָדֶיךָ,
וְעַל נִשְׁמוֹתֵינוּ הַפְּקוּדוֹת לָךְ,
וְעַל נִסֶּיךָ שֶׁבְּכָל יוֹם עִמָּנוּ,
וְעַל נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ וְטוֹבוֹתֶיךָ שֶׁבְּכָל עֵת,
עֶרֶב וָבֹקֶר וְצָהֳרָיִם.
הַטּוֹב, כִּי לֹא כָלוּ רַחֲמֶיךָ,
הַמְּרַחֵם, כִּי לֹא תַמּוּ חֲסָדֶיךָ,
כִּי מֵעוֹלָם קִוִּינוּ לָךְ:
וְעַל כֻּלָּם
יִתְבָּרַךְ וְיִתְרוֹמַם שִׁמְךָ מַלְכֵּנוּ, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
וְכָל הַחַיִּים יוֹדוּךָ - סֶּלָה:
בשבת שובה מוסיפים:
וּכְתֹב לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים כָּל בְּנֵי בְרִיתֶךָ.
וִיהַלְלוּ וִיבָרְכוּ אֶת שִׁמְךָ הַגָּדוֹל, בֶּאֱמֶת, לְעוֹלָם כִּי טוֹב,
הָאֵל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ וְעֶזְרָתֵנוּ סֶלָה, הָאֵל הַטּוֹב.
משתחוה בברוך וזוקף בשם
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', הַטּוֹב שִׁמְךָ וּלְךָ נָאֶה לְהוֹדוֹת:
6) Modim - Gratitude

We are grateful before you
because You are G!D,
our Divine Power and the Divine Power of our ancestors,
now and always.
Our rock, the rock of our lives
You are the shield of our salvation
from generation to generation.
We thank you and recount your praises
for our lives which are bound up in Your hands
and for our souls which are accounted by you
and for your miracles which are amongst us every day
for the wonders and goodnesses which are present in every hour
evening, morning and afternoon.
[You are] Goodness, for your mercy has no limit
You are Mercy, for your open-kindness has no end
We hope in you always.
For everything
may Your name be blessed and elevated,
our sovereign ruler,
throughout eternity.
May all life itself acknowledge you - Selah!

7) Shalom - Peace

עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ.
וּבָרְכֵנוּ אָבִינוּ, כֻּלָּנוּ כְאֶחָד בְּאוֹר פָּנֶיךָ,
כִּי בְאוֹר פָּנֶיךָ
נָתַתָּ לָּנוּ ה' אֱלֹהֵינוּ,
תּוֹרָה וְחַיִּים,
אַהֲבָה וָחֶסֶד,
צְדָקָה וְרַחֲמִים,
בְּרָכָה וְשָׁלוֹם.
וְטוֹב בְּעֵינֶיךָ לְבָרְכֵנוּ וּלְבָרֵךְ אֶת כָּל עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּרֹב עֹז וְשָׁלוֹם.
בשבת שובה מוסיפים:

7) Shalom - Peace
Grant peace, goodness and blessing,
life, grace, open-kindness, charity and mercy
upon us and upon all [Israel] your people.
Bless us, divine parent, all of us as one, through the light of your Presence
for it is by the light of your Presence
that you have given us, G!D, our Divine Power,
the Torah of life
of love and kindness
of charity and mercy
of blessing and peace.
May it be good in Your eyes to bless the whole people of Israel with the mightiness of Your peace.
