Join My Jewish Learning's A Daily Dose of Talmud and Sefaria for an interactive learning experience through Sefaria's Chavruta Roulette.

On Thursday, January 28th at three different times - 9am-10am ET, 12pm-1pm ET, and 7pm-8pm ET - you'll have the opportunity to study a series of texts about Tu Bishvat with a fellow Daily Dose subscriber. Once you are logged into your Sefaria account, you will be able to join the event by clicking here: http://bit.ly/mljtubishvat
Sefaria’s Chavruta Roulette feature will randomly sort you into a chavruta pair for a guided study of Tu Bishvat prepared by My Jewish Learning — without ever leaving Sefaria's virtual library.
You might just ‘meet’ a fellow learner with a different background and perspective!
Excited for the event? Please be sure to read these important technical tips:
- You'll need a Sefaria account and to be logged in to participate. Don't have an account yet? Create an account here! It will only take a minute. Once you've created your account, just make sure you're logged in when you click the Chavruta Roulette link. If you’re new to Sefaria, this page is a great FAQ guide to get you started.
- You will also need to be a subscriber to My Jewish Learning's A Daily of Dose of Talmud. Subscribe by clicking here.
- Once you've created an account on Sefaria and subscribed to A Daily Dose of Talmud, you can join the event by clicking here: http://bit.ly/mljtubishvat on Thursday, January 28th for any of these three sessions: 9am-10am ET, 12pm-1pm ET, or 7pm-8pm ET. You will also receive this link before the event in the Daily Dose emails - be on the lookout!
- The experience will be best on your laptop/desktop computer and using the most up-to-date versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, rather than on mobile. You can download Chrome here and download Firefox here. It will not work on Internet Explorer.
- Though Chavruta Roulette enables a learner to switch chavruta partners by clicking "New Person," we will not be using that feature for this event; try to stick with the first chavruta partner you are paired with.
- Chavruta Roulette is a new Sefaria feature and there may be some technical hiccups along the way; we'll do our best to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. Sefaria and My Jewish Learning appreciate any feedback to help develop this feature and future community learning events (there will be a link to a short survey at the end of the study guide).
- If you have any questions related to Sefaria before or after the event, you can email [email protected].
- If you need any technical support during the event:
