Chanukah miracle so here's the story of the 8 day lasting oil. Once the temple was destroyed they were looking at all the destruction and all the oil was destroyed they did not use plane old oil because the oil had to be pure oil. They were searching and searching and they found a tiny oil they thought it wouldn't last but it lasted 8 whole nights.
