(27) And the LORD said unto Moses: ‘Write thou these words, for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.’ (28) And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten words. (29) And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of the testimony in Moses’hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face were KRN while He talked with him.

Midrash Rabah Shemos 47

From where did Moses take the rays of splendor? Rabbi Judah son of Nachman said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Levi, when he finished writing [the Torah] with his quill, some ink remained. He passed it over his head and from it he acquired the rays of splendor.

Rambam (Hilchos Tefilin 1:19): One must be careful when writing a Sefer Torah, Tefilin or Mezuzah that two letters not touch. If a letter is not Mukaf Gvil on four sides, it is Pasul.
OHR MAKIF/PENIMI two forms of light/energy: (a) Makif, encompassing and (b) Penimi, permeating. These two forms of energy originate from two types of Divine Energy (Ohr Ein Sof) before the tzimzum. Ohr Makif originates from the Infinite energy (koach haBli-gvul) and Ohr Pnimi originates from finite energy (koach haGvul).
Question to ponder: Think about your own life. Have you had an experience of Ohr Makif?
