Pesach Haggadah
Once, Rabbi Eliezer, Rabbi Yehoshua, Rabbi Elazar ben Azaria, Rabbi Akiva, and Rabbi Tarfon reclined [for the seder] in Benei Brak, and they told of the exodus from Egypt all that night until their students came in and said, “Teachers, the time for saying the Shema of the morning has come.”

Pesach Haggadah
Even if we were all wise, all intelligent, all aged, and all knowledgeable in the Torah, it would still be incumbent upon us to speak about the Exodus from Egypt; and the more one speaks of the Exodus from Egypt, the more admirable it is.

Tosefta, Pesachim 10:12
Once, Rabban Gamliel and the elders were reclining in the house of Boethus ben Zonin at Lod, and they were occupied in studying the laws of Pesach all that night, until the rooster crowed. They lifted the table, readied themselves, and went to the house of study to pray.

Talmud, Berachot 46b
When there are two couches, the senior guest takes his place first, then the junior one above him. When there are three couches, the senior occupied the middle one, the next in rank takes the place above him, and the third in rank takes the place below him.

Mishnah, Rosh HaShanah 2:9
Upon this Rabban Gamliel sent [Rabbi Yehoshua] word, saying, "I order you to appear before me on the Yom Kippur, according to your computation, with your staff and [purse of] money in your hand." Rabbi Akiva went to him [Rabbi Yehoshua], and found him grieving. He said then to him, "I can prove that all Rabban Gamliel has done is [well] done, for it is said, 'These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which ye shall proclaim,' either at their proper time, or not at their proper time, their convocations are to be considered as holy festivals."
When [Rabbi Yehoshua] came to R. Dosah ben Arkenaz, the latter told him, "If we are to reinvestigate the decisions of the tribunal of Rabban Gamliel, we must also reinvestigate the decisions of all the tribunals of justice which have existed from the time of Moses till the present day...
Then did Rabbi Yehoshua take his staff and money, and went to Yavneh, to Rabban Gamliel, on the very day on which the Yom Kippur would have been, according to his computation; when Rabban Gamliel arose, and kissed him on his forehead, saying, "Enter in peace, my master and disciple! My master—in knowledge; and my disciple—since thou didst obey my injunction.

Talmud, Rosh HaShanah 29b
Rabban Yochanan ben Zakkai said to [the Benei Betara]: "Let us blow [the shofar]." They replied, "Let us discuss [whether we should blow it or not]." He said, "Let us blow [the shofar] first, then discuss." [They agreed.]
After the shofar had been blown, they said, "Now let us discuss." He replied, "The shofar has already been heard at Yavneh, and after the act has already been done, there is nothing to discuss!"
