Rendering #1
(1) A psalm of Asaph.
God stands in the divine assembly;
among the gods He pronounces judgment.
(2) "How long will you judge unjustly,
and show favor to the wicked? Selah.
(3) Do justice for the lowly and the orphan,
vindicate the afflicted and those in want,
(4) rescue the lowly and the needy;
from the hand of the wicked save them!
(5) They do not know or understand,
in darkness they wander about;
all the foundations of the earth totter.
(6) As for me, I had said you were (or: I took you for) gods,
children of the Most High, all of you;
(7) Yet indeed like humans you will die,
like one of the princes fall."
(8) Arise, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are Your possession.

Are all of you children of the Most High?!

like one of the princes fall."

for all the nations are Your possession.

(1) Hashem is king, He is robed in splendor;
Hashem is robed, girded in strength.
The world stands firm; it cannot be shaken.
(23) “Now, then, Hashem, the God of Israel, dispossessed the Amorites before His people Israel; and should you possess their land? (24) Do you not hold what Chemosh your god gives you to possess? So we will hold on to everything that Hashem our God has given us to possess.
