ס֣וּר מֵ֭רָע וַעֲשֵׂה־ט֑וֹב בַּקֵּ֖שׁ שָׁל֣וֹם וְרָדְפֵֽהוּ׃
Depart from evil, and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it.

It is our custom to say to mourners "May you be comforted from heaven." And there are those who add to that, but you should not add (to cause) additional sorrow. The Ashkenazim have the custom of saying "May God (lit. The Place) comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem."
