Genesis 1:27

(27) And God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:28

(28) And God blessed them; and God said unto them: ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.’

Genesis 2:18

(18) And the LORD God said: ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.’

(כב) וְאֶ֨ת־זָכָ֔ר לֹ֥א תִשְׁכַּ֖ב מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֑ה תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה הִֽוא׃

Leviticus 18:22

(22) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.

Intercourse is a holy and pure thing, when it is done in an appropriate time, and with an appropriate intention. Let no man think that in proper intercourse there is anything blameworthy or perverse. Heaven forbid, for intercourse is called “knowing.” (Iggeret Hakodesh chap. 2)

משנה קידושין א׳:א׳

(א) האשה נקנית בשלש דרכים, וקונה את עצמה בשתי דרכים. נקנית בכסף בשטר ובביאה... וקונה את עצמה בגט ובמיתת הבעל. היבמה נקנית בביאה. וקונה את עצמה בחליצה ובמיתת היבם.

Mishnah Kiddushin 1:1

(1) A woman is acquired in three ways, and she acquires herself in two ways. She is acquired through money, through a document, or through sexual intercourse. ... And she acquires herself through a bill of divorce or through the death of the husband.

Bereshit Rabbah 9:7

(7) Rabbi Nahman said in Rabbi Samuel's name: Can then the Evil Desire be very good? That would be extraordinary! But without the Evil Desire, however, no man would build a house, take a wife, beget children or conduct business

כל אשה שתובעת בעלה לדבר מצוה הווין לה בנים שאפילו בדורו של משה לא היו כמותן

Eruvin 100b:18

Any woman who solicits her husband to the marital rights will have children, the like of whom did not exist even in the generation of Moses.

משנה כתובות ה׳:ו׳

(ו) ...העונה האמורה בתורה, הטילין בכל יום, הפועלים שתים בשבת, החמרים אחת בשבת, הגמלים אחת לשלשים יום, הספנים אחת לששה חדשים, דברי רבי אליעזר.

Mishnah Ketubot 5:6

(6) ...[The law of providing sexual] pleasure [to one's wife] that is stated in the Torah [is as follows]: one at leisure, daily; laborers, twice a week; donkey drivers, once a week; camel drivers, once every thirty days; navigators every six months; these are the words of Rabbi Eliezer.

When he does return home again, it is his duty to give his wife pleasure, because it was she who acquired for him his heavenly partner. (Zohar, Genesis, 49b-50a)

כתובות מ״ח א:ה׳-ח׳

תני רב יוסף שארה זו קרוב בשר שלא ינהג בה מנהג פרסיים שמשמשין מטותיהן בלבושיהן מסייע ליה לרב הונא דאמר רב הונא האומר אי אפשי אלא אני בבגדי והיא בבגדה יוציא ונותן כתובה:

Ketubot 48a:2

Rav Yosef taught There must be close bodily contact during sex, unlike the custom of the Persians who preform their marital duties in clothes. This supports the ruling of Rav Huna. As Rav Huna said: A husband who says, "I will not perform [my marital duties] unless I wear my clothes and she wears hers, must [divorce her] and giver her the ketubah [settlement].
