How did Chochmah come about after the Simsum from Keter?

After Simsum, the ten sphirot come out. What happens when light meets hard Massach/curtain. The vessel has four levels, 4^th level has strongest curtain and strongest desire. A person either has desire for pride or desire to be physical and want to accumulate things. Those with more desire build a stronger curtain. If you need desire to be fulfilled immediately, you live with no curtain. We don’t enjoy the curtain, I want it and when it arrives, I can let it go.

It is an interesting concept mentioned in the Talmud. What do you do with pride? When you see pride chasing you, you run the other direction. A lot of times, we try to be spiritual . you run away from it not to get it but to see how far you can run away. The light first comes full level, from Keter. Above Malchut is a curtain, this 4^th phase shoots it all the way to Keter. The light includes all the goodness, endless amount of all of it. The force wants to express itself through us. The light knocks on curtain. The light dresses all sefirot. After this is complete, it has to go through 3 levels, head, body and end. What happened to Massach now, it becomes weaker.

The light purpose is to break the massach, which contradicts religion and spiritually because light purpose is to fill up your desire and massach purpose is to prevent you from expressing your desire. The idea is that the light wants to express the whole capacity of sharing. sometimes when you ask for things its ridiculous, you can desire. The light doesn’t care if you want, because it wants to give. Do you have room for the fulfillment? When the light comes to express itself with you, where are you. Its never the universe doesn’t want to give you something, it’s always, do you have the vehicle to receive. Electricity/energy existed before invented. How do you pass energy, a wire, a vehicle to express energy? Can’t capture lighting, no vessel can handle. Think of the ensof, and how powerful it is. Light can ride three ways, like a wire: 1.) good doings; 2.) charity/sharing; 3.) mitzvot.

When massach getting beat up, no longer 4^th phase massach its 3^rd phase massach because not as thick as before. It can’t shoot to Keter now can shoot to Chochmah. The purpose is, the light always wins. If you can’t say no anymore, you are a baby or you die. When all levels are removed then becomes one with the light.

Purification of the Curtain

The purification of the curtain from daled to gimmel. When the ensof light comes and hits gimmel/3^rd it is now in system of Chochmah and not Keter. To have level of Keter you need massach of Pechina daled/4^th phase. We are talking about 4^th phase but within 4^th there are 4 phases. Rav Ashlag is sharing additional information: the thickness(desire) of the vessel can only receive from level of Bina. This is 4^th phase, but it’s the 3^rd phase of the 4^th phase. The drawing of the light was low to begin with. The 3^rd phase can’t draw the full capacity of the light. To begin with it was already different type of light. The reason the Keter, Chochmah don’t exist there is because if you don’t have a receiver, you don’t express any existence. If there is an area in your life you want to improve, find something to fill it up, the vessel. For example, if you want tea, don’t look for the water look for the kettle. The idea is you have the vessel, create something with it. The light is already there waiting to fulfill it. What is it in your vessel/tool you have?

Keter is the head, Malchut is the mouth. How do you control the mouth when you want to say something? The mouth is a major part. If you want to deal with 4^th phase, you deal with mouth. Everything in face has duality, mouth is one, to remind you to do less. When you speak and eat, you should add something spiritual.

The next level after you hit the massach, it is now missing Keter, Chochmah and Bina. Then it beats up last piece of 4^th phase and then nothing going on because there is no massach. What happens then? There is a problem because Malchut said I’m not receiving, wherever light left from Zeir Anpin goes to Malchut. This will be explained in more detail in another section.

Eventually the light always end.
