אָנָּא יְיָ מָלֵא רַחֲמִים, אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדְךָ נֶפֶשׁ כָּל חָי וְרוּחַ כָּל בְּשַׂר אִישׁ, יִהְיוּ נָא לְרָצוֹן לְפָנֶיךָ תּוֹרָתֵנוּ וּתְפִלָּתֵנוּ בַּעֲבוּר נִשְׁמַת יהודית בת משה צבי ודבורה וּגְמוֹל נָא עִמָּהּ בְּחַסְדְּךָ הַגָּדוֹל לִפְתּוֹחַ לָהּ שַׁעֲרֵי רַחֲמִים וָחֶסֶד וְשַׁעֲרֵי גַן עֵדֶן וּתְקַבֵּל אוֹתָהּ בְּאַהֲבָה וּבְחִבָּה וּשְׁלַח לָהּ מַלְאָכֶיךָ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים וְהַטְּהוֹרִים לְהוֹלִיכָהּ וּלְהוֹשִׁיבָהּ תַּחַת עֵץ הַחַיִּים אֵצֶל נִשְׁמוֹת הַצַּדִּיקִים וְהַצִּדְקָנִיּוֹת חֲסִידִים וַחֲסִידוֹת לֵהָנוֹת מִזִּיו שְׁכִינָתְךָ לְהַשְׂבִּיעָהּ מִטּוּבְךָ הַצָּפוּן לַצַּדִּיקִים, וְהַגּוּף יָנוּחַ בַּקֶּבֶר בִּמְנוּחָה נְכוֹנָה בְּחֶדְוָה וּבְשִׂמְחָה וְשָׁלוֹם כְּדִכְתִיב יָבֹא שָׁלוֹם יָנוּחוּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבֹתָם הוֹלֵךְ נְכוֹחוֹ, וּכְתִיב יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד יְרַנְּנוּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבֹתָם, וּכְתִיב אִם תִּשְׁכַּב לֹא תִפְחָד וְשָׁכַבְתָּ וְעָרְבָה שְׁנָתֶךָ. אָמֵן:
A Prayer
Please, YHVH, You who are full of compassion, who hold in your hand the souls of all living, and the spirit of all people. May the Torah and prayer that we offer for Jill, Yehudit bat Moshe Tvi v'Devorah, generate good will. May Your great love extend to her, opening for her the gates of Gan Eden. Bring her in with love and care, and send your pure and holy messengers to guide her to a place in the shade of the tree of Life. May she sit there with all the righteous and pious men and women, enjoying the glow of your presence and being fulfilled by the good you have kept for the righteous.
May her body find rest where it is buried.
May her rest be of joy and completion as it says - "the one who walks straight will come to completion and find rest when the lay down". And it says "The pious will rejoice in their glory, sing where they lay". And it says "you will lay down without fear, and your sleep will be sweet". Amen.
(יב) אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בֶּן לֵוִי, עָתִיד הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְהַנְחִיל לְכָל צַדִּיק וְצַדִּיק שְׁלשׁ מֵאוֹת וַעֲשָׂרָה עוֹלָמוֹת, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (משלי ח), לְהַנְחִיל אֹהֲבַי יֵשׁ וְאֹצְרֹתֵיהֶם אֲמַלֵּא. אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן בֶּן חֲלַפְתָּא, לֹא מָצָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא כְּלִי מַחֲזִיק בְּרָכָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֶלָּא הַשָּׁלוֹם, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (תהלים כט), ה' עֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן ה' יְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם:
(12) Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said: In the world to come the Holy One, Blessed be He, will make each righteous person inherit three hundred and ten worlds, for it is written: "That I may cause those that love me to inherit yesh (numerical value of; and that I may fill their treasuries" (Proverbs 8:2. Rabbi Shimon ben Halafta said: the Holy One, Blessed be He, found no vessel that could contain blessing for Israel save that of peace, as it is written: "The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace."
הֲדְרָן עֲלָךְ ששה סדרי משנה וְהֲדְרָךְ עֲלָן, דַּעְתָּן עֲלָךְ ששה סדרי משנה וְדַעְתָּךְ עֲלָן. לָא נִתֽנְשֵׁי מִינָךְ ששה סדרי משנה וְלֹא תִתְנְשֵׁי מִינָן, לָא בְּעָלְמָא הָדֵין וְלֹא בְּעָלְמָא דְאַָתֵי:
We turn back to you, the six orders of Mishnah, and you turn back to us; our mind is on you, the six orders of Mishnah, and your mind is on us; we will not forget you, the six orders of Mishnah, and you will not forget us – neither in the world as it is nor in the world as it is becoming.
(ה) יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ ה' אלהינו, כְּשֵׁם שֶׁעֲזַרֽתַּנו לְסַיֵים ששה סדרי משנה, כֵּן תּֽעַזְרֵנו לְהַתְחִיל מְסֶכְתוֹת וּסֽפָרִים אַחֵרים וּלְסַיֵימָם, לִלְמֹד וּלְלַמֵּד, לִשְׁמֹר וְלַעֲשׂוֹת וּלְקַיֵּם אֶת כָּל דִּבְרֵי תַלְמוּד תּוֹרָתְךָ בְּאַהֲבָה, וּזְכוּת כֹֹּל הַתְנָאִים וְאָמוֹרָאִים וּתַּלְמִידֵי חֲכָמִים יַעֲמוֹד לִנו וּלְזַרְענו שֶׁלֹא תָּמוּש הַתּוֹרָה מִפֽינו וּמִפִי זַרְענו עד עוֹלָם. וַיִתְקַיֵים בנו: בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ, תַּנְחֶה אֹתָךְ, בְּשָׁכְבְּךָ תִּשְׁמֹר עָלֶיךָ; וַהֲקִיצוֹתָ, הִיא תְשִׂיחֶךָ. כִּי-בִי, יִרְבּוּ יָמֶיךָ; וְיוֹסִיפוּ לְּךָ, שְׁנוֹת חַיִּים אֹרֶךְ יָמִים, בִּימִינָהּ; בִּשְׂמֹאלָהּ, עֹשֶׁר וְכָבוֹד. ה' עֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן; ה' יְבָרֵךְ אֶת-עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם.
(5) May it be your will, Lord my G-d, just as You have helped us to complete the six orders of Mishnah so too may you help us to start other tractates and books, and to complete them, to learn and to teach, to observe and to enact and to fulfill all the words of the teaching of your Torah with love. And may the merit of all of the Tannaim and Amoraim and Torah scholars be present for us and for our descendants, to ensure that the Torah does not depart from our mouths and from the mouths of our descendants for all eternity. And may the following be fulfilled for us: (Proverbs 6:22) "When you walk, it will lead you, when you lie down, it will watch over you. When you awake, it will speak with you." (Proverbs 9:11) "For through me your days will be multiplied, and the years of your life will be increased." (Proverbs 3:16) "Length of days is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor." (Psalms 29:11) "God will give strength to God's nation, God will bless God's nation with peace."
(ו) יִתְגַּדַּל וְיִתְקַדַּשׁ שְׁמֵהּ רַבָּא בְּעָלְמָא דִּי הוּא עָתִיד לְאִתְחַדְתָּא, וּלְאַחֲיָאה מֵתַיָּא, וּלְאַסָּקָא יַתְּהוֹן לְחַיֵּי עָלְמָא, וּלְמִבְנָא קַרְתָּא דִּי יְרוּשְלֵם, וּלְשַׁכְלְלָא הֵיכָלֵהּ בְּגַוָּהּ, וּלְמֶעֱקַר פּוּלְחָנָא נוּכְרָאָה מִן אַרְעָה, וּלְאָתָבָא פּוּלְחָנָא דִּי שְׁמַיָּא לְאַתְרָהּ, וְיַמְלִיך קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא בּמַלְכוּתֵה וִיקָרֵהּ בְּחַיֵּיכוֹן וּבְיוֹמֵיכוֹן וּבְחַיֵּי דְכָל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל, בַּעֲגָלָא וּבִזְמַן קָרִיב, וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן יְהֵא שְׁמֵהּ רַבָּא מְבָרַךְ לְעָלַם וּלְעָלְמֵי עָלְמַיָּא. יִתְבָּרַךְ וְיִשְׁתַּבַּח וְיִתְפָּאַר וְיִתְרוֹמַם וְיִתְנַשֵּׂא וְיִתְהַדָּר וְיִתְעַלֶּה וְיִתְהַלָּל שְׁמֵהּ דְּקֻדְשָׁא. בְּרִיךְ הוּא. לְעֵלָּא (בעשי"ת לְעֵלָּא לְעֵלָּא מִכָּל) מִן כָּל בִּרְכָתָא וְשִׁירָתָא תֻּשְׁבְּחָתָא וְנֶחֱמָתָא דַּאֲמִירָן בְּעָלְמָא. וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן.
עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַל רַבָּנָן. וְעַל תַּלְמִידֵיהוֹן וְעַל כָּל תַּלְמִידֵי תַלְמִידֵיהוֹן. וְעַל כָּל מַאן דְּעָסְקִין בְּאוֹרַיְתָא. דִּי בְאַתְרָא קַדִּישָׁא הָדֵין וְדִי בְכָל אֲתַר וַאֲתַר. יְהֵא לְהוֹן וּלְכוֹן שְׁלָמָא רַבָּא חִנָּא וְחִסְדָּא וְרַחֲמִין וְחַיִּין אֲרִיכִין וּמְזוֹנֵי רְוִיחֵי וּפֻרְקָנָא מִן קֳדָם אֲבוּהוֹן דְּבִשְׁמַיָּא וְאַרְעָא וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן.
יְהֵא שְׁלָמָא רַבָּא מִן שְׁמַיָּא וְחַיִּים עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן: עוֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם (בעשי"ת הַשָּׁלוֹם) בִּמְרוֹמָיו הוּא יַעֲשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן:
(6) ...May your great name be made holier and greater, in this world that you are destined to renew and to give life to the dead and raise them to eternal life, to build the city of Yerushalayim, and complete the Temple in its midst. And to uproot idol worship from the Land, return the service of the Heaven to its place, and the Holy Blessed One shall rule in majesty and splendor in our lives, and in the lifetime of the entire house of Israel, swiftly and in the near future; and say, Amen. May the great Name be blessed, forever and ever. Blessed, praised, glorified, exalted, extolled, honored elevated and lauded be the Name of the holy one, Blessed above and beyond any blessings and hymns, Praises and consolations which are uttered in the world; and say Amen.
We pray for the Jewish People, its teachers, their students, their student's students, and all those who engage in Torah - here and in any place they may be. May all of you and them find a great peace, beauty, grace and compassion, may you all merit long life, abundant sustenance and freedom, the blessings of the parent who resides in the heavens and the earth, and let us say, Amen.
May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and life, upon us and upon all Israel; and say, Amen.
