Rabbi Yochanan said: Why is there no נ in Ashrei? Because it would refer to the downfall of Israel, as it is written, "Fallen (נָֽפְלָה), not to rise again, is Maiden Israel" (Amos 5:2) ... Rav Nachman bar Yitzhak said: Even so, David refers to it and finds support for Israel in the Holy Spirit, as it is said, "The Lord supports all who fall (הַנֹּפְלִים)" (Psalm 145:14).
