אֱלהֵינוּ וֵאלהֵי אֲבותֵינוּ
רְצֵה בִמְנוּחָתֵנוּ.
קַדְּשֵׁנוּ בְּמִצְותֶיךָ
וְתֵן חֶלְקֵנוּ בְּתורָתֶךָ.
שבְּעֵנוּ מִטּוּבֶךָ
וְשמְּחֵנוּ בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ
וְטַהֵר לִבֵּנוּ לְעָבְדְּךָ בֶּאֱמֶת.
וְהַנְחִילֵנוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ בְּאַהֲבָה וּבְרָצון שַׁבַּת קָדְשֶׁךָ.
וְיָנוּחוּ בו יִשרָאֵל מְקַדְּשֵׁי שְׁמֶךָ:
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' מְקַדֵּשׁ הַשַּׁבָּת:
Our God and God of our fathers,
accept our rest.
Sanctify us through your commandments
and grant our portion in your Torah.
Satisfy us through your goodness
and gladden us through your redemption.
Purify our heart to serve you in truth.
Allow us to inherit, YHVH our God, in love, willingly, your holy Shabbat.
May Israel, the sanctifiers of your name, rest on it.
Blessed are you, YHVH, Sanctifier of Shabbat.
